I Want This Wardrobe

Love her or hate her, the girl can dress. That's one of the reasons Joe Zee invites Olivia to fabulous events on The City. Last night they attended an Elie Tahari party together at Bergdorf Goodman, where Olivia of course wore Tahari. But it's this menswear-inspired work ensemble that I'm more inspired by. It's total power woman, but sexy and stylish at the same time. Note the plaid vest underneath the gray suit blazer — great touch. Another vital addition? Olivia's signature glimmering gold jewels.

Tick, tock . . . It's only hours before tonight's Gossip Girl. You ready for the drama? Poor S, her relationship with Nate is on the rocks and tonight's rumored Gossip Girl gossip bomb is supposed to make matters even worse. For the sad occasion, the Upper East Sider rocked a gorgeous Yigal Azrouel ruched jersey dress, accessorizing with a statement necklace by Carla Reiter and MCL by Matthew Campbell bracelet. If you're gonna go down, you might as well go down in style, right?

Tonight's episode of Gossip Girl is sure to be a tense one with Rufus, Will, and Lily's sticky love triangle. While Serena's already taking sides, Blair is staying clear of the household drama. The newly accepted Columbia student relished in her new surroundings wearing a bird print dress by Marc Jacobs. It's a funky choice, and we like how she accessorized with orange heels and fishnet tights. Now if only her and Chuck would get back together . . .

It's only episode two of The City, but the friction is already on. Luckily, things were more positive in the style department. Whitney provided many fashion inspirations, the most fresh being this look she wore to work when Kelly revealed that she was chosen as one of three emerging designers for a Rue La La feature. Her hot pink tank and gold necklace play a sassy role, while the black boyfriend blazer and skinny jeans act as the tough cookies. Right-on combination.

Tonight on Gossip Girl, two dads are going to battle it out for Serena and Lily. While Rufus has love and determination on his side, Serena's long lost dad — played by the slick William Baldwin — has very sneaky antics up his sleeve. In fact, Serena looks like she's stylishly falling for his daddy ploys in this scene. Her dress is the perfect shade of turquoise and we love how she adorned her ensemb with gold drop earrings. So simple, yet so bold.

It's going to be a big night for Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl. While the rest of her cohorts are busy with love problems, Serena has bigger fish to fry with a surprise visit from her long lost father. For her much anticipated family reunion, the Upper East Sider layered a sleek chocolate trench coat over a maroon dress by Porter Grey, charcoal ribbed tights, and platform pumps. Such a pretty, polished ensemble, but is it enough to win her father's heart? I guess we'll have to wait and see . . .

Tonight's Gossip Girl will circle around Dorota's wedding — aw. If the Upper East Siders act true to form, expect sideline drama and fancy fashions. We love how little Jenny turned up the volume on her tan dress with black floral lace tights, booties, and stacked diamond bangles. Still dressy enough for a wedding, yet undeniably Jenny.
