Icy Lavender

Red Carpet

This Week's Fab Favorite: Diane Kruger

I hate to be predictable, but you knew this was going to happen.

I hate to be predictable, but you knew this was going to happen. Didn't we all swoon when we saw Diane in frothy lavender Marchesa at the annual New Yorkers For Children Spring dinner dance in NYC? We should have seen it coming with her hint of icy lavender the day before. I saw this dress live at Marchesa's Fall showing, and I've been waiting for someone — not just anyone — to wear it. And Diane does, to perfection. She compliments the voluminous one-sleeved frock with cool-gray accessories and heavenly makeup. There couldn't be a more perfect frock for our girl — it's dramatic, feminine, forward. Diane continues to deliver gifts of pulchritude.

Celebrity Style: Diane Kruger

While I love Diane in high-octane fashion shoots, I love her equally on the street.

While I love Diane in high-octane fashion shoots, I love her equally on the street. Here she is smiling and running errands dressed down in jeans, boots, and bags. But let's dig deeper. Black and white stripes deliver a yummy nautical flavor, a shrunken light denim jacket feels fully familiar, a touch of icy lavender feminizes, and Balmain's black studded boots still make me swoon. A heather gray headband and A.P.C.'s Beads Bag ($210) are cool, casual touches.

Shopaholic630 is emitting raw elegance today.

Shopaholic630 is emitting raw elegance today. Her icy lavender frock and poised position remind me of a ballerina. Take note of how she paired it with an oatmeal cardigan. Undeniably beautiful. She's on top of all the trends — are you? Come back and tell us what you have on, girl!

Congrats to shopaholic630!
