Get Iman's Silver and Gold Smoky Eye Look

Everyone wishes for silver and gold.

Everyone wishes for silver and gold. (Well, at least that's what that singing snowman once said.) And at the CFDA Fashion Awards, Iman, who received the Fashion Icon Award, dazzled. A glittery gold shadow on the inner corners of her eyes, accompanied by a matte deep silver on the lids, made the most of her considerable beauty.

But she's more than just a pretty face. Michael Kors recently said that the 55-year-old model is "an icon for our times." And with her makeup collection, Iman Cosmetics, going strong since 1994, she's a savvy businesswoman as well. "At the end of the day, my legacy will not be modeling, but my cosmetics line," she told the New York Times.

Put your own spin on Iman's warm and cool look by playing with different textures and intensities. Use a shimmer, glitter, or subtle sparkle of vibrant gold or white gold and pair with a black, gray-brown, or dark taupe on the lids to customize for your complexion. Encircle the eyes with black eyeliner and top off with an illuminating bronzer and neutral lip gloss.

Trend Alert: Blue-Hued Arm Candy

Wherever Iman goes, I follow.

Wherever Iman goes, I follow. The model muse attended a Diane von Furstenberg event in a fresh DVF Josun Dress in Miranda Ruffles Green ($473, originally $675). Then, she layered on a black leather jacket and blue-hued arm candy — MCL by Matthew Campbell Laurenza bangles and a two-tone cocktail ring. Everything stuns, especially the wearer, but bold blue bangles and rings add exotic envy to any arm.

Rihanna Leads the Way With Amazing Women For Glamour

Rihanna stole the show in her dramatic white dress as she and her fellow honorees took the red carpet at last night's Glamour Women of the Year celebration in NYC.

Rihanna stole the show in her dramatic white dress as she and her fellow honorees took the red carpet at last night's Glamour Women of the Year celebration in NYC. Carnegie Hall was brimming with beautiful ladies from Iman to Maria Shriver and Diane von Furstenberg. Catherine Zeta-Jones stood out in blue and had Michael Douglas by her side for support. Rih was just one of a handful of women who were chosen by the magazine, but all eyes were on her — and most of you are loving the look, just the latest in her fashion metamorphosis!

Padma Lakshmi showed off her growing baby bump while one of the evening's honorees Stella McCartney smiled big with her award up on stage where she also had some trouble with her super short skirt. Amy Poehler and Michelle Obama were two of the magazine's other women of the year, though the First Lady didn't attend the event since she was with her husband President Barack Obama visiting with families at Fort Hood. The night was full of inspirational and important females who spoke and mingled, celebrating each other and Glamour's picks. Rihanna has come out strong opening up about her difficult year and what all this means to her – check out Rih's heartfelt speech after the jump.

Who Wore It Better? Donna Karan Sequin Halter Dress

Iman was one of my favorite red-carpet queens when she wore her Donna Karan sequin halter dress a few weeks ago.

Iman was one of my favorite red-carpet queens when she wore her Donna Karan sequin halter dress a few weeks ago. Now, French actress Eva Green is here to challenge her. Let's break them down. Supermodel Iman opted for more bling via diamond bracelets and diamond drop earrings. Eva, on the other hand, kept her glimmer to a minimum by wearing a small ring and stud earrings. In the beauty department, Iman matched her lipstick to her gown, while Eva wore a contrasting burnt-orange shade. Both ladies look amazingly svelte, but who wore their Donna Karan gown better?

A bevy of gorgeous gals came out to celebrate Fashion Group International's 26 Annual Night of Stars. From 54-year-old Iman to 22-year-old Evan Rachel Wood, all of the ladies looked ravishing in their red carpet duds. Unsurprisingly, Dita von Teese was the most dramatic with her astral Stephen Jones headpiece, but the rest stunned with their gowns. I know which one's my favorite; which one's yours?
