Whitney Port is all about staying sassy. Check her out in LA wearing a vivacious velvet jacket. That's right people, velvet coats are back in abundance with refreshing cuts and colors. Everyone loved it. So I have to ask you, you look so confident on the red carpet, what is your secret?
Really? That’s so nice! What is my secret? Getting ready for the red carpet is all smoke and mirrors. You’ve got your stylist, your hair person, your makeup person, and a team of people that are going to make you look the best that they know how to make you. I think when you feel good it makes you more confident, but I used to really dread the whole press part of this business because I think it is really intense and sometimes it's just really scary.

Hayden Panettiere is currently holding a closet sale to benefit her impassioned cause, the Save the Whales campaign.

Los Angelenos will be glad to know that Intermix has opened up shop in their city. To celebrate, "The Hills" stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge attended the debut party last night. I must applaud both of them for looking so classy and ladylike in black. LC went the classic route in her AKA New York dress and rhinestone brooch, while Audrina went sassy in her short Ingwa Melero frock. Sometimes all-black can be boring, but this is not one of those times!
As of late, celebs are really liking Ingwa; Melero's sexy dresses. This Ingwa; Melero Nova Spaghetti Dress, $293, adds a new twist to tired jersey frocks. It seems stars aren't the only ones taking note of this German designing duo. Retailers are also on the lookout...and creating cheaper versions!

PopSugar was lucky enough to score an exclusive interview with Emmanuelle Chriqui who plays E's girlfriend Sloan on the HBO hit series, Entourage. Pop was nice enough to share some of the juicy parts about Emmanuelle's favorite designers with me as well as her Red Carpet secrets. Here are the highlights:
- On Her Favorite Designers: I’m a huge fan of Lotta Stensson. She’s here in LA. And in New York there’s Ingwa Melero, I’ve worn her dresses a couple times. She’s unbelievable. Most often when you see me in long dresses it’s Ingwa or Lotta.
Then of course I’m a huge fan of Yigal Azrouel. He’s an amazing designer as well. He’s really just edgy cool. I wore his green dress at the Golden Globes. I’ve been turned on to YSL. I mean hey, who’s not going to love YSL (laughs). I really like Dolce & Gabbana. I think their dresses fit like a glove.
- On Getting Ready for The Red Carpet: It’s a little nerve wracking because you just want it all to come together. You have a vision of how you want it all to be. You’ve got someone doing your hair and doing your make up and depending on the day – some are just so on and some are so off.
