Jennifer Ouellette Buttons Headband: Love It or Hate It?

I tend to gravitate toward headpieces that are quirky but not too weird.

I tend to gravitate toward headpieces that are quirky but not too weird. Which is why this Jennifer Ouellette Buttons Headband ($85) made me stop in my clicks. I thought to myself, buttons on a headband are a neat idea! And since they're black, it's not so out there. What do you think of it? Would you wear buttons on your head?

Celebrity Style: Victoria Beckham

I just love it when women wear their coats as dresses.

I just love it when women wear their coats as dresses. It lends mystery; after all, we don't know what's on underneath. But that's not the only reason I'm crushing on Victoria Beckham's Milan ensemble. Her Dolce & Gabbana jeweled headband, which she's worn once before, also plays a big part. It makes her head sparkle and adds a luxurious spin to her outfit. She completed her look with patent black Christian Louboutin boots and two handsomely dapper sons.

Fab Finding Follow-Up: Dance the Day Away

A friend of mine is in a modern dance group and they're having their recital soon.

A friend of mine is in a modern dance group and they're having their recital soon. She invited me to go, and though I'm excited to see her moves, I'm nervous about my outfit. The only other dance recital I've been to was my little cousin's ballet class. I wanted to look dance-inspired but not foolish. Thanks for all of the lovely suggestions. I'm confident that I'll fit right in with the dance crowd in one of these sweet ensembles.

I started you off with this Jennifer Ouellette Headband ($75) because it has a sweet ballet aesthetic that will make me fit in with the dancers.

Look #1, created by kendallina, is soft with a little bit of tough. The thick strap adds a modern interpretation to the girlie ballerina flat.

Wedding

Not Your Average Bridal Accessories

I know it's supposed to be all about the blushing bride's fabulous gown on her wedding day.

I know it's supposed to be all about the blushing bride's fabulous gown on her wedding day. But we're experiencing a resurgence in the power of accessories, so why not add a little flair to the matrimony mix? It can be as simple as white opera gloves or as dramatic as a Carrie Bradshaw-inspired bright yellow flowered pin. The rules are waiting to be broken, and you're the bride — it's your prerogative. Feathers, crystals, and flowers are all fun additions that will only add to the jollifications that lay ahead.
