The saying goes, birds of a feather flock together, and we're totally smitten with the two beautiful besties, seen above, snapped during Paris Fashion Week. Both looks are cute in their own way — one strikes a more '70s bohemian stance, while the other opted for a casual mix of dots and denim. Emulate one or both looks with our picks from Jerome Dreyfuss, Helmut Lang, Twenty8Twelve, and J.Crew.

Jerome Dreyfuss SoHo Store Gets Covered in Masking Tape by Julien Gardair

As if you needed reason to stop by the Jerome Dreyfuss shop in New York beyond his gorgeous collection of leather and python handbags, the designer has commissioned French artist Julien Gardair to create a one-of-a-kind art installation for his newly opened boutique.

As if you needed reason to stop by the Jerome Dreyfuss shop in New York beyond his gorgeous collection of leather and python handbags, the designer has commissioned French artist Julien Gardair to create a one-of-a-kind art installation for his newly opened boutique. Inspired by Palm Springs (where Dreyfuss also found inspiration for his summer 2010 collection), Gardair layered black masking tape sketches over the shop's white tiled walls. “I think it’s very interesting when young artists don’t have money to express themselves. Then they have to find ways to be able to say what they want to say…using materials you don’t use normally for art,” said Dreyfuss, who has hinted that the multimedia artist's work has an impact on his upcoming fall collection.

Gardair's installation will be on view in Jerome Dreyfuss's store through September, but the art collaboration is certainly not the last for Dreyfuss, who selected his SoHo space for its gallery-like qualities.

French handbag designer Jerome Dreyfuss launches his first stateside boutique in Soho one month before the opening of his wife's Isabel Marant store next door. In designing the space Dreyfuss kept many of the original interiors in the Broome Street storefront — some floor and ceiling tiles are a century old — and added modernist touches in the form of sleek cabin-like shelving and Ron Arad modular couches purchased from the Museum of Modern Art.

As for the obsession-worthy merchandise, you can expect slouchy, effortlessly cool handbags in exotic skins and vibrant hues for Spring, with exclusive product offerings being introduced specifically for the New York store.
