In case you didn't notice, that's actress Julianne Moore roaming the streets of NYC. She's newly blonde and a total babe - but I loved her as a redhead; what do you think about the drastic change? I adore her sophisticated black and white ensemble, especially the Cartier Marcello de Cartier bag and Chloe sunglasses! She looks very hip and very New York.

Lace during the Summer doesn't make much sense to me, when I want light and flowey fabrics. Unless, it's the vintagey, bohemian handkerchief lace I love so much. I managed to salvage a turquoise top from the 80s with handkerchief lace and silver slivers along the sleeves from my mom's closet and it's really fun - especially when I'm my most tan. While the selections come in mostly white or black, blues make the old-fashioned detail seem ready for a water taxi around the island for sure.
Boeing Business Jets has unveiled concept drawings that higlight luxury and comfort for its upcoming 787 VIP airplane. The renderings feature custom interior designs for the advanced-technology widebody VIP jet and were displayed at the Middle East Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition in Dubai.
It looks like the idea was to combine plush seating and party/business space as well as provide ample flatscreens and entertainment centers. I wonder if passengers on this jet will be able to use their cell phones.

Lately, I've been almost as excited about the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack as I am about the accompanying summer blockbuster. The movie, of course, comes out out on Friday, but the soundtrack hits stores tomorrow, and you can listen to the entire album online now at AOL Music.
It really is a pretty daring soundtrack for a big summer movie. The contributions from bands like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Jet are edgy but also fit nicely into the superhero-movie mold. My favorite tracks are probably the Walkmen song, "Red River," and Black Mountain's "Stay Free" — both of which are pretty interesting departures from each band's sound. However, Snow Patrol's "Signal Fire" is a bit maudlin and movie-soundtracky for my taste. Anyway, give the CD a listen and let me know what you think.
