The latest collaboration to make news is for denim lovers — and, as Karlie Kloss told Vogue, it's also for "freakishly tall" girls like her. The lanky 6'1" model has teamed up with Frame Denim — and her friends Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson — on a capsule called Forever Karlie. It includes two extralong jean styles, one flared and one skinny silhouette, in light and dark washes, each with 40-inch inseams (the average being around 30 to 32 inches).
The partnership was not borne out of a need to join in on the growing collaboration bandwagon, but out of sheer necessity. "Finding pants that fit is something I've struggled with my whole life," Kloss said. And it isn't just length that defines this capsule. The waistband is slightly higher, making it near impossible to reveal too much skin. "There's nothing worse than a pair of jeans that leaves you feeling exposed when you bend down!"
The collection — priced at $209 and $219 — is slated to debut at Barneys New York, Net-A-Porter, Ron Herman, and Jeffrey the first week of June. A closer look at the Karlie Kloss for Frame Denim campaign, here in the gallery.
