Coco matched up a structural white blazer with black leather pants, while Karolina opted to go all white in a sleek pantsuit, then added a dash of color via yellow pumps. Both models turned up the volume on polish, but Coco followed the black and white colorblocking trend and Karolina showed us that Winter white can be so damn chic. We're all about great dresses and bare legs in Spring and Summer — but when it's 30 degrees with a major snowstorm on the way, going without tights is a serious fashion risk (no matter how good your outfit looks without them). Don't get us wrong, we adore everything about Karolina Kurkova's latest NYC ensemble, but we couldn't help but think: she must be cold. The supermodel took care to cover up her top-half with a black infinity scarf and a gorgeous gray coat, but then chose to leave her legs bare. Even if you're bundled up on top and you've got a car waiting at the curb, it takes a little (or a lot) of courage to brave the cold with nothing on your stems. We know, she certainly didn't look like she was freezing, but a pair of black tights would have totally worked with her ensemble. Supermodels and celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, Brad Goreski, and Tyson Beckford celebrated the premiere of Oxygen's new reality series The Face last night in NYC. The show features major models, including Naomi, Karolina, and Coco Rocha, guiding two dozen young hopefuls toward reaching their dreams. It was apt timing for the debut of the series, with New York Fashion Week kicking off tomorrow.

Last night, Naomi chose Alaïa, Coco went for a sheer Emilio Pucci gown, and Karolina showed off her curves in a Dimitri fringed dress. The men in attendance also brought their style game. Tyson Beckford, Brad Goreski, designer Zac Posen, and The Face's Nigel Barker all suited up for the occasion. The new show doesn't air on Oxygen until next Tuesday, but in the meantime, the first episode of The Face is available online now.

At last night's The Face premiere in NYC, the red carpet might as well have been a catwalk. The show
"mentors," including industry heavyweights like Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, Coco Rocha, and Crystal Renn (who could have very well been giving a master class in runway form as they posed for cameras and air-kissed down the arrivals), glammed up to promote their new show — and showcase their own eventwear M.O. Naomi went the elegant, albeit sexy, route in a body-hugging Alaïa gown, while Coco Rocha played the more dramatic angle in a sheer Emilio Pucci gown. As for Karolina, the leggy blonde opted for a flirty, brilliant blue, fringed Dimitri dress — which proved a perfect option for showing off her stems. Step inside to see the rest of the glamorous arrivals face off — including an appearance from Victoria's Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo — then vote for the evening's best-dressed supermodel.

The model-spotting of Fashion Week is just kicking off in New York today, but last night four of our favorites were out and about. Celebrating the premiere of their new show, The Face, Karolina Kurkova, Naomi Campbell, and Coco Rocha stepped out sporting three completely different looks. Karolina opted for frosted blue shadow and brushed out waves; Naomi paired her heavy fringe with a sexy smoky eye; and Coco wore a faux '20s-style bob and tomato red lipstick. Over in Australia, Miranda Kerr walked in the David Jones fashion show, but stopped for a few snaps with heavy apricot blush and a mussy topknot. All four ladies had a range of styles, but whose did you like best?

"One photo has the power to make or break your career," Naomi Campbell says during the first episode of The Face, in which a group of 24 hopeful models is whittled down to 12 competitors. "This is the reality of our modeling business."

It's a declaration that's dramatic, but also true. Campbell's message about the cutthroat nature of the business seems to be the thrust of the episode, which was released online a week ahead of its scheduled television debut.

Campbell and her fellow coaches Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha meet the girls during New York Fashion Week at the Spring 2013 show of fellow reality TV star Zac Posen. The coaches then put the two dozen young women through a series of tests, including a one-shot photo shoot and a runway challenge — eliminating girls who don't pass muster along the way.

But it's not all slash and burn. After the challenges, the coaches sit down with host Nigel Barker to assemble teams they think have a chance at winning the grand prize. A look at who makes the cut in the video below.
