Keds For Kate Spade

Here at Fab HQ, few things excite us more than designer collaborations and sneakers — so you can probably guess how we feel about the just-announced Keds for Kate Spade collection. Just in case, we'll elaborate. In honor of Kate Spade's 20th anniversary, Keds has crafted a peppy line of kicks with all the pops of color and sweet prints befitting of the Kate Spade New York label. If you're anything like us, you're probably hoping to snap up the collaboration ASAP (preferably in time for holiday gift-giving), but you'll have to wait it out till February to get your hands on these. The eight-piece collection, er, kicks off in February on Keds.com and in Kate Spade stores, as well as in Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com, with prices ranging from $75 to $85. So, while 2012's selection of cool-girl kicks set our sneaker obsession into motion, this line promises that our love of sporty footwear will continue well into the New Year. Note: if you're not the high-top-wearing type, these riffs on the Keds classics may be more your speed. Just click on for a sneak peek of all the styles to come — and mark your calendars.

The singer then completed her European style with black tights, black suede pumps, a cute paper plane necklace, and stud earrings. What we love most about Taylor's new dress is that it looks like she layered a strapless black dress over a white tee. We can't get enough of the girlie flowy skirt either. Dress it up with tights and pumps like the singer did or dress it down with ballet flats.

Kate Spade Spring 2013 | Runway

For Spring 2013, Deborah Lloyd offered up everything a Kate Spade girl could want — and then some. Colors were sweet, silhouettes girlie, and of course, there was plenty of hot pink and preppy quirk. But the real fun was in details: clutches made to look like old-time radios, purses shaped like picnic baskets, minaudieres like retro candy bars, and even bracelets in the form of Brad Goreski's glasses. Pointy-toed loafers, Lana Del Rey nails, and slicked-back hair gave it all a real "Greased Lightning" goes to the garden party appeal.

Deborah Lloyd's Spring '13 presentation was filled to the brim with vintage, colorful nostalgia. Prints were in full bloom as the designer took us back to the '80s in an array of cropped floral pants, gingham fit-and-flare dresses, polka-dot tops, and bow-print sweaters. The explosion of hot pink, yellow, and mint were definitely made for the girlie girl, but even the minimalist would fall in love with the brand's cheeky accessories — who could resist those adorable radio clutches?

  • Trends: Retro, printed pants, flared skirts.
  • Colors: Yellow, pink, blue, mint, black, and white..
  • Key Piece: The orange gingham dress was adorable.
  • Accessories: Neon pumps, floral platform sandals, cutout flats, patent platform sandals, spectator slingbacks, kitschy clutches, straw and satin bags.
  • Who Should Wear It: Jessica Alba's not afraid of prints and has been spotted wearing a lot of Kate Spade lately.
