Celeb Style: Elle Macpherson

With just a slouchy turtleneck ($79) and a pair of J.Brand Houlihan cargos, Elle Macpherson created an enviable, cool ensemble while hanging with her son in Sydney.

With just a slouchy turtleneck ($79) and a pair of J.Brand Houlihan cargos, Elle Macpherson created an enviable, cool ensemble while hanging with her son in Sydney. It's easy, but still chic — thanks to details like a pair of pretty, leopard-print ballet flats ($88, originally $125) and classic aviators. Shop my picks above for a similar look.

Trend Alert: Do the (Mini) Duffel

Duffels sure have come a long way.

Duffels sure have come a long way. The former gym rat has since turned into a chic companion for stylish cuties across the globe. The shrunken size is ideal for running around town, and we love the endless variety of colors and textures. Peep how Kate Moss contrasted her sandstone hues with a black duffel by Louis Vuitton. Color me inspired. Go on, do the (mini) duffel!

Lucky Magazine + HSN = Designer Capsule Collection

Lucky magazine and HSN have become fast friends.

Lucky magazine and HSN have become fast friends. The two teamed up to create an exclusive capsule collection with seven designers — Shoshanna, Rebecca Taylor, Kooba, Rebecca Minkoff, Tracy Reese, Gerard Yosca, and Helen Ficalora. How are these pieces different from the ones the designers create for their namesake lines? They have the same aesthetic but are way more affordable. "It is so exciting to be partnering with HSN and have these unique, fabulously priced items reach a wider audience and bring Lucky Shops to life in an entirely new way," Lucky's editor in chief Kim France said. The designer capsule collection will be revealed on HSN on Oct. 16 and 17; some pieces are now available on Lucky Shops at HSN.

There are two rules I abide by when shopping: function and fashion. That's why I'm so smitten with the resurgence of drawstring bags. This sporty, luxe attitude goes perfectly with today's casual cool style and even translates well when paired with tailored ensembles. Oh, on another note, I purchased a crackly gold metallic version of this Foley + Corinna Drawstring Bag ($445) a couple months ago — so rad.

Marisa Tomei was snapped looking incredibly chic on her way to dinner at STK restaurant in LA. Her red trench — collar slightly popped — textured black pants, and peep-toe black patent booties are perfect together. The gunmetal clutch tucked under her arm and gold necklace provide shine without stealing the show. But really, Marisa's look is a testament to how a trench, especially in a bold color, can instantly jazz up any look. Now we know the actress's thoughts on red.

Shirise is my go-to destination for the hottest selection of designer accessories. Their variety of handbags, footwear, and jewels will undoubtedly make you drool with lust. Right now, the site is hosting a spectacular sale with items marked up to 50 percent off. I love the rad zipper detailing on this Blue Kooba Ryder Tote ($357, originally $595). It's by no means cheap, but the luscious leather and bold color are well worth the splurge!

Newly married Mandy Moore hosted the season opening of Tao Beach in Las Vegas over the weekend. Seeing as the weather in Sin City is sizzling, it's fitting that the actress chose a colorful maxi dress from Diane von Furstenberg's collection. Always the simple gal, Mandy didn't wear any jewels, but her Vanessa Bruno studded sandals helped pull in some tough chick spunk.

Celebrity Style: Beyonce

Recession aside, there's no stopping the $11,410 Balmain jacket.

Recession aside, there's no stopping the $11,410 Balmain jacket. Beyonce chose to wear the crystal-embellished, drummer-boy stunner to dinner at the Waverly Inn with her hubbie, Jay-Z — they were celebrating their one-year anniversary. She kept the look very Beyonce with tight dark-rinse jeans, sassy sandals, and a chain-handle, black-leather bag. The shoulder love continues, as does Beyonce and Jay-Z love.
