We can't say we are quite as familiar anymore with the clothing by L.A.M.B., but maybe that's just because those handbags seem to be jumping out at us on every corner. In the beautifully arranged accessories room we jumped straight for the L.A.M.B. handbags because we knew people would want a better look at the prints and shapes to deliver this summer. Our favorite were the chic 70's block print bags that look as sophisticated as any vintage hand-me-down from your mom's designer storage. Frontwoman for the band No Doubt and solo songstress, Gwen Stefani also steals the spotlight as a songwriter, designer and mother. The 38-year–old trendsetter and wife of rocker Gavin Rossdale with whom she has adorable Kingston, has got it goin' on.
And, just when we thought our girl Gwen has done absolutely everything, she starts a charity —the Gwen Stefani After-the-Fires Scholarship for students who have lost their homes or sources of income due to fire. As reported in the San Diego Union Tribune, Stefani said:
"When I heard about the devastation of the fires, at first I felt I should cancel my San Diego show out of respect. But then it occurred to me there might be a more useful solution."
The pop star also donated roughly $160,000 in proceeds from her October concert to the San Diego Foundation fire–relief fund, proving that this wonder woman is not "just a girl."
Super cool baby boys everywhere have some fierce competition from the coolest of them all: Kingston Rossdale.
He of the metallic gold stroller, camouflage socks, and mini-Adidas definitely provides great inspiration for the aspiring dapper lil dude. When gifting a pint-size sartorialist, think stripes, robots, airplanes, and Kingston, and you'll have a winner.
Last night, Style.com hosted the book launch party for its new book Stylist, The Interpreters of Fashion at Skylight in New York. A few of the 16 stylists highlighted in the book made appearances, including W fashion editor Camilla Nickerson, Vogue creative director Grace Coddington, Elle creative director Joe Zee, and Allure creative director Paul Cavaco. Vogue editor Anna Wintour and a gaggle of designers were also there to mingle and show their support, including the L.A.M.B. designer herself, Miss Gwen Stefani, decked out in a fringed checkerboard top and tailored shorts.
P.S. Happy birthday Zac!!!

This week, your Fab Finds are all about neutral colors: beiges, nudes, ivories, khakis, and browns! I agree; neutrals are great for summer - they keep you cool by not absorbing heat because they're light-colored, and they go with pretty much anything because they're...well...neutral! My favorite way to play with neutrals is to accessorize with a bright-colored bag or shoe.
The Fab Finder of the week is ina717, who found these really cool pebble-shaped lounge pillows! Every week the Fab Finder I announce Monday morning will receive either a TeamSugar or FabSugar baby tee shirt. I thoroughly enjoy perusing your Fab Finds every week, so dare to be a Fab Finding trendsetter and you just might win a Sugar tee!

I'm not usually a huge fan of Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. clothing line: It's too busy and flashy for me, and I can't deal with the high doses of gothic lettering and leopard-print motifs. But her Spring 2007 collection, unveiled Friday at
New York Fashion Week, is going in a more appealing direction for me.
Inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer's look in the 1983 film Scarface, the line of evening wear and tailored sportswear was more 1970s New York than 1990s Los Angeles. I particularly liked the floor-sweeping graphic-print dresses, gold-lame hot pants, and the eye-catching octagonal gold belt buckles. There were, however, a few examples of Gwen's stalwart style that I found rather hideous—namely, the rainbow-fade handbag and garish sweats. But all in all, this is some of the best L.A.M.B. stuff I've seen yet. To see all of Fabsugar's Fashion Week coverage, click here. To see the rest of the L.A.M.B. collection, read more
