>> For the 2011 Pirelli calendar, which launched in Moscow today, Karl Lagerfeld said that he produced “the visual version of Homer. I did with my camera what he did with his pen, although we understand that he probably didn't use a pen.” Lagerfeld gathered 15 female models, 5 male models, and Julianne Moore in his Paris studio back in April to produce 36 black and white images of deities from ancient Greece and Rome for the calendar. “I wanted to do something different. I looked at all the other calendars,” he explained, adding: “With such a concept and boys and girls like this, it was an easy job.”

Lagerfeld was surrounded by a cadre of the models featured for the Moscow launch, including Natasha Poly sporting a new brunette hair color. But who did he cast as whom? Julianne Moore plays Hera, Brad Kroenig poses as Zeus, Lara Stone gives her best Aphrodite, Jeneil Williams channels Hades, and Baptiste Giabiconi embodies the roles of both Narcissus and Apollo.

The rest of the cast includes: Bianca Balti (as a Bacchante), Elisa Sednaoui (Flora, Echo), Freja Beha Erichsen (Apollo, Pollux, Orpheus), Isabeli Fontana (a Bacchante), Magdalena Frackowiak (Athena, Estia), Anja Rubik (Hermes, Terpsichore), Abbey Lee Kershaw (Echo, Castor, Eurydice), Lakshmi Menon (a Bacchante), Heidi Mount (Aurora, Amphitrite), Erin Wasson (Ajax, a Bacchante), Natasha Poly (Melpomene), Daria Werbowy (Artemis, Penthesilea), Iris Strubegger (Athena), Sebastien Jondeau (Mars), Garret Neff (Bacchus), and Jake Davis (Achilles).

A peek at the calendar and launch below.

Lara Stone's Husband David Walliams on Married Life, the Possibility of Children

>> Lara Stone's husband David Walliams, gave The Sun some insight on their married life — a little over five months now, and it sounds like it's going strong: "It's a lovely thing to fall in love, to come back and feel like you've got a home.

>> Lara Stone's husband David Walliams, gave The Sun some insight on their married life — a little over five months now, and it sounds like it's going strong: "It's a lovely thing to fall in love, to come back and feel like you've got a home. I would be at work filming and my wife would be saying, 'What time are you home because I want to know what time to put the shepherd's pie on?' I never thought I'd have that. An international supermodel who can make a great shepherd's pie."

He continued: "If you are with someone you adore, you're happy to just spend time together. You don't have to be doing something really exciting all the time. We love watching The X Factor. If she's away I have to wait until she's back before I can watch it, which is a shame because I already know who has been kicked out. But we love it." Lara also recently admitted to being an America's Next Top Model fan, and, Walliams says, she likes soccer: "Lara went out to the World Cup because Holland was in the final and she dressed in an orange wig. She is a big football fan. I took her to Chelsea v Arsenal a few weeks ago. So I'm sort of getting into football through my wife."

As for adding to their family — Lara said she'd like "little gay boys" — Walliams says: "We've talked about having kids but there are a few things we want to do first — travel and careers. Obviously if you're an international supermodel it's harder. You can't do a sexy Calvin Klein jeans advert if you're six months pregnant. But I would love kids."

Lara Stone Wins Case Against French Playboy

>> "I think naughty shoots suit my personality," said Lara Stone, who has seen her career grow with controversial images — like those of her in black face, or more recently, those banned from Australia for being "suggestive of rape and violence."

>> "I think naughty shoots suit my personality," said Lara Stone, who has seen her career grow with controversial images — like those of her in black face, or more recently, those banned from Australia for being "suggestive of rape and violence." "I don't mind doing a straightforward fashion shoot, but it's more fun when there's something naughty in it."

She does mind, however, when images of her are published without permission. In July, she sued French Playboy and photographer Greg Lotus for putting unauthorized photos in the magazine's June 2010 issue. ''Playboy had no right to publish these unauthorised photographs," Stone said at the time. "It's not the kind of publication I would ever choose to appear in. I feel I have no option but to take steps to protect my reputation.''

The case has come to a close, with Stone winning "significant" damages, which she will donate to Great Ormond Street Hospital. Through a statement released by her law firm, Stone said: ''No woman wants photos of them to be published in Playboy without permission. I'm very pleased to have won the case, although of course I would rather not have had to take legal action at all.'' Playboy has also been ordered to publish a prominent legal statement in its next edition, confirming that it has infringed on Stone's image rights.

Lara Stone Is an America's Next Top Model Fan

>> Lara Stone had more free time than usual this show season — she walked exclusively for Calvin Klein — and she tells British Vogue in the magazine's November 2010 cover story that she's not interested in raising her profile.

>> Lara Stone had more free time than usual this show season — she walked exclusively for Calvin Klein — and she tells British Vogue in the magazine's November 2010 cover story that she's not interested in raising her profile. "I don't think people on the street recognize me ever. And I like that. If I wanted to be recognized every five minutes, I'd hire a publicist." In fact, the British press has kept a reasonable distance from Stone and her new husband David Walliams lately — "We've got a court order," she explains.

Stone says she's happiest "vegging out in front of America's Next Top Model." When asked if the show has taught her any modelling tips, she deadpans: "Smizeing," referring to Tyra Banks's abbreviation for "smiling with your eyes." "I'm good at that," she adds.

She's been alcohol-free for a year and a half now, and as for smoking: "I'm planning to quit tomorrow, I've had enough!" She plans to kick it "through willpower. It's a bit worrying though — if you don't drink and smoke any more, there's nothing . . . " And now that she's married, are children in the future? "Not yet. But I would love to have children some day. I'd like little gay boys. That would be good. I'm terrified of having a little girl. Girls are more evil than boys. And then they have boyfriends." She corrects herself: "Of course, I'd be happy to have a girl."

Gap Between Your Teeth Can Make You Famous

Life, Love & Lace dissects the hugely popular model trend: gapped teeth.

Life, Love & Lace dissects the hugely popular model trend: gapped teeth.

Every person wants to be unique and recognizable. In fashion industry, it is both good and bad. If you have ordinary looks you'll get lots of work especially on the runway where clothes are important rather than girls who model those. But if you have something that differentiates you from all the others, it can be a key to world success.

Remember Cindy Crawford and her mole? The supermodel once said that she wouldn't have been so called-for as a model unless her mole was her trademark. Everyone knows Cindy Crawford for that mole.

Lara Stone's Cups Runneth Over on Vogue Paris's 90th Anniversary Issue

>> Carine Roitfeld pulled out all the stops for Vogue Paris's 90th anniversary October issue.

>> Carine Roitfeld pulled out all the stops for Vogue Paris's 90th anniversary October issue. The cover features Lara Stone — eyes obscured, breasts not so much. "Vogue Paris has always played the card of audacity," said Roitfeld, adding, "We couldn't do a lukewarm issue."

The issue is 622 pages, 276 of which are ads, and 104 are well wishes from designers around the world. Inspired by the historic nature of Vogue Paris's 75th anniversary issue, Roitfeld mixed together new editorials (shot by Mario Sorrenti, David Sims, Terry Richardson, Steven Klein, Hedi Slimane, who used Ines de la Fressange's 11-year-old daughter as his model, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin) with snippets from the Vogue archives, like a 1962 interview with actress Romy Schneider shot by Helmut Newton. Those who pick up the issue in France will be gifted a portfolio of oversize photographs from the nine decades, and Roitfeld plans to celebrate the magazine's 90 years with a costume ball in Paris on Sept. 30. A preview of the issue, below. And speaking of Vogue Paris, newcomer Daphne Groeneveld is rumored to be on the Nov. 2010 cover.

Are Gap Teeth the Next Big Beauty Feature?

Remember when Angelina Jolie started the vogue for majorly pillowy pouts, practically launching the entire lip plumping industry?

Remember when Angelina Jolie started the vogue for majorly pillowy pouts, practically launching the entire lip plumping industry? Well now, according to The Wall Street Journal, it looks like gap teeth could be the next big "It" facial feature.

With young stars like Anna Paquin, Demi Lovato, and model Lara Stone wearing their diastema (the dental term for a gap) proudly, apparently some people like the look so much they're having a gap put in their teeth to add to their sex appeal. Putting aside the fact that declaring a part of someone's body to be "cool" or not is kind of absurd in the first place, do you think we'll all be wearing faux gaps in a few years' time, or will a gap-toothed smile remain a pretty, but relatively unique, feature?
