Sneak Peek! Lauren Conrad Collection Resort '09

If you live in a sunny town, you can wear Lauren Conrad's resort collection without suffering frostbite.

If you live in a sunny town, you can wear Lauren Conrad's resort collection without suffering frostbite. For the rest of us, we'll just have to wait until things warm up. Her hot-weather offerings include her signature jersey dresses along with fun swimwear and cotton tops. My favorite piece from the line is the strapless old-school swimsuit, seen below, retailing for $130. I like how the modern print adds flavor to the vintage cut. I would first wear it to the pool and then at a party with a black skirt thrown over it. Lauren's resort collection is definitely a step up from her past collections so hopefully more goodies are to come. Are you interested yet?

Have You Purchased an Item From the Lauren Conrad Collection?

The numbers don't lie.

The numbers don't lie. Lauren Conrad's namesake collection is ">flying off the racks before stores can replenish their stock. The starlet, who recently held a Fall presentation collection at Bloomingdale's in NYC to a slew of fans, was delighted among all of her admirers. "I love meeting the customers and seeing what they buy," said Conrad. "I've learned a lot from them."

And to Bloomingdale's vice chairman Frank Doroff's surprise, the feeling is mutual. "We got it in and sold out immediately. We can't get the merchandise on the floor fast enough. It is, by far, the best-selling celebrity line we have. It's so much better than I thought it would be," said Doroff, who also mentioned that LC's leggings were the first to sell out. In the future, Conrad plans on adding handbags and accessories to her brand. But I want to know: Have you purchased anything from her collection?

Lauren Conrad lives in Hollywood, but she recently went back home to participate in a homecoming fashion show at the first-ever Style Week at the Irvine Spectrum Center. As expected, she was greeted by a mob of The Hills fans and her proud family and friends.

But before showing off the Holiday 2008 line from her Lauren Conrad Collection, the reality star, who wore a white strapless dress from her line and Yves Saint Laurent platforms, hit backstage and made sure every detail was perfect. Between fixing models' hair accessories and wardrobe styling, she found a few minutes to pose for photos with her BFF Lauren "Lo" Bosworth and parents.

Are You Curious to See Lauren Conrad's Couture Emmy Dress?

No one can knock The Hills' LC for being lazy.

No one can knock The Hills' LC for being lazy. She recently made history revealing that she will be designing a Lauren Conrad Collection couture gown for the trophy girls (there has to be a better name for them) for the Emmy awards next month.

Lauren gushed, "I am so excited that the Academy has asked me to design a dress for this year’s Emmy Awards. I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist."

Lauren's clothing collection has been dissed for its high prices and overly simple designs, although I feel her last collection was more interesting. Are you at all curious to see Lauren's couture Emmy dress?
