>> In a month or so, Versace's H&M collection will hit stores. We've gotten a glimpse of the goods, which will be paraded in full on Nov. 8 during a runway show in New York. Now, the campaign has started popping up, featuring Versace favorites Daphne Groeneveld, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Lindsey Wixson, and Sasha Pivovarova — all blonde — styled by Joe McKenna and photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
Z Spoke by Zac Posen Resort 2012
>> Easy-to-wear separates in an easy-on-the-eyes palette permeate the Z Spoke Resort 2012 offering. The inky palette and subdued mood that were the hallmark of the Fall 2011 Z Spoke collection have lightened up a bit, giving way to a selection of pieces that hit a slightly more playful note: a cherry red silk anorak with a drawstring peplum-waist; a pale blue wide-leg pantsuit in slubby tweed; and plenty of sweet fit-n-flare frocks in all kinds of chiffon and polka dots. It's a youthful outing for Posen, and one that's perfectly reflected in his choice of lookbook model — Lindsey Wixson.
Lindsey Wixson Stars in Terry Richardson's Western For Vogue Nippon
In thigh-high, lace-up boots, gold jacket, and animal print, teenage model-of-the-moment Lindsey Wixson becomes Terry Richardson's high-fashion cowgirl for the June issue of Vogue Nippon. Outfitted in Cavalli, Miu Miu, and Givenchy, Lindsey plays the part of glamazon-gone-west well, posted up in among monuments and remnants, and eventually, sitting down to a big bowl of spaghetti. Fashion Week Makeup Gives Model Lindsey Wixson an Allergic Reaction

I feel terrible for Lindsey, and her misfortune is a good reminder that makeup can cause serious allergic reactions, not just run-of-the-mill breakouts. Clearly, with FW's hectic schedule, there was likely little time for Lindsey to test all this stuff on herself, but for those of us with a little more free time, performing a patch test before you put new cosmetics on is always a good idea.

2011 Spring Couture: Christian Dior
Beginning in Paris today, Haute Couture Fashion Week kicked off with Christian Dior's Spring/Summer '11 collection. I wouldn't expect anything less than this kind of decadent sophistication from the design house, whose past collections have their roots of inspiration in florals, garden parties, and royalty. This time, the Spring/Summer looks offer John Galliano's whimsy in the form of pencil skirts, pleats, feather-embellished evening gowns, and vintage glamour. The color palette is rich with reds, greens, blues, and then pastel pink and yellow. It's fiercely feminine, as we'd expect, balancing outrageous volume with slim silhouettes; some is totally posh, more severe, then it softens — full of embellishment, oversize bows — to the all-out decadence of evening. Click through to see the entire collection.
Two Things We Love Together: Opening Ceremony and Lindsey Wixson!
On their own, clothing line Opening Ceremony and model Lindsey Wixson do just fine. But cross them together and fashion fireworks ignite! Our girl crush is the latest model to appear in Opening Ceremony's Spring '11 lookbook, shot by Terry Richardson, and she makes the '70s-inspired getups even more fun with her whimsical posing and adorable laugh. As you recall, Lindsey is no stranger to '70s modeling. Click through to see the result when two talented fashion insiders unite.
