We first professed our love for newcomer Lindsey Wixson during New York Fashion Week. The Kansas-born, 16-year-old model has a lot to rave about — the most adorable pouty lips being number one. She's in Purple magazine's latest Fall/Winter issue, modeling behind the lens of Olivier Zahm. As I was flipping through, I couldn't help but notice that she slightly resembles a young Angelina Jolie; the plush lips, those piercing blue eyes, the intense stare.

Every fashion week, there are a few special faces that catch our attention immediately. For New York Fashion Week Spring '11, Lindsey Wixson is it. In a sea of models who resemble one another — it's so hard to tell them apart these days! — Lindsey is an anomaly. Just take a look at those exaggerated, puckered lips. Unreal, right? No collagen there! And unlike most of the girls, she has ample bosom. Before you check out her modeling chops, here are some fun facts: Lindsey is 16, born in Kansas, and originally wanted to be a chef or a lawyer. She's come a long way since then!

As it happens, those two are not the only photographers enamored with Wixson's gap teeth and Clara Bow lips:  photographer Gabrielle Revere, who shadowed Wixson through last season's castings, fittings, and runway shows for a Life portfolio, is back with an exhibit of Wixson images, "I Remain, You Desire," at Sotheby's in Manhattan from Sept. 1 through 21. "She was just so stunning, and different than all the other girls," Revere said of meeting Wixson.
