Sunglass Hut style director Rachel Bilson, in a Vanessa Bruno skirt and jacket, shared her expertise with fans at the company's outpost at LA's Beverly Center yesterday. She helped attendees find the perfect glasses and also chatted with us about her favorite picks for Fall — she loves "retro" shades and said Opening Ceremony is one of her favorite places to shop. Rachel also revealed that she decided to celebrate FNO on the West Coast, because that's where she's shooting Hart of Dixie. Stay tuned for our interview with Rachel later! Nicole Richie cohosted LA's FNO with West Coast Vogue editor Lisa Love, who confessed to us that her splurge of the evening was going to be a pair of Lanvin pumps!
>> The Chateau Marmont hosted the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund West Coast runway show and tea yesterday afternoon — part of the competition for fund finalists (Joseph Altuzarra, Pamela Love, Prabal Gurung, Christian Cota, Moss Lipow, Gregory Parkinson, and Eddie Borgo among them); each finalist showed five Spring 2011 looks to an audience that included Rachel Zoe, Erin Wasson, Noot Seear, and Jenna Lyons.
Nerves were high for the designers, with a winner to be announced next month. “I have to tell myself to stop and enjoy the moment,” said Gurung. “But it was hard for us all not to tear up.” And Laura Love, Vogue West Coast editor Lisa Love's daughter, who was reportedly convinced to check out modeling by Anna Wintour and has since signed with Ford Models, walked the runway for Altuzarra.
Rachel Zoe and Nicole Richie reunited last night to celebrate the year's CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists at a bash thrown by the magazine's West Coast editor Lisa Love and hairstylist Frederic Fekkai. Nicole paired her long dress with her brand-new bob and explained why she decided to chop off her locks. She said, "I don't know, but I liked it. I really want to cut it shorter." Despite a rumored pregnancy, Rachel's social schedule hasn't calmed down, as she also stepped out on Monday night for the star-studded Elle Women in Hollywood event. The stylist checked out a runway show while wearing Balmain pants and carrying an Hermes bag — make sure to enter our contest to add one of the iconic purses to your own collection! Rachel also made the rounds and said hi to her designer bud Prabal Gurung, who made the dress her client Kate Hudson wore on the gray carpet at the Elle event.

The September Issue opens at a theater near you this Friday — look out for my review earlier that day — but the stars got to see the highly anticipated flick last night. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art was the location and the guest list included Ginnifer Goodwin, Shenae Grimes, Jennifer Morrison, and more. Unlike us, who go to the movies in jeans, these celebs donned the cutest frocks. To their defense, there was a red carpet rolled out for the screening. Proceed to find out who showed up and what they wore.
