So it's not the weekend (quite yet), but that doesn't mean we can't get started on planning our perfect Saturday errand-running look right now. It's never too early to cull inspiration, and Emma Roberts served us up with a doozy while shopping in LA. Not only did she hit all the right notes with her frayed black Citizens of Humanity jeans, silky white tie-neck blouse, and leopard-print Vans, but she also validated our obsession with Loeffler Randall's floral Mini Rider ($395) bag, which we lovingly featured as one of our April Must Haves. The crux of Emma's daytime-cool ensemble lies in its sheer effortlessness. She pairs simple, everyday basics with exciting accessories, and plays up her crisp black and white look with fun florals and leopard-print pieces. We're hooked on this look — and if you are too, just click below to shop similar pieces now.

Loeffler Randall Recalls Edward Scissorhands For Spring

There's no question Edward Scissorhands had style, but who would expect the character to inspire a sprightly Spring line?

There's no question Edward Scissorhands had style, but who would expect the character to inspire a sprightly Spring line? Loeffler Randall's Spring 2013 shoe and handbag collections have arrived, and designer Jessie Randall cites the cult classic film, along with the concept of suburban perfection, as her inspiration. Have no fear: there are no sharp edges in this array. Instead, we're seeing graphic black and white mixed with bright hues, feminine details, and romantic motifs. In a floral-print linen-silk blend fabric, the Dahlia platform heel is an instant icon that we'd pair with silk pants for the day or high-waisted shorts with a little Nancy Sinatra style for the evening. We're also pleased to see the brand's popular Rider bag softened for Spring in a delicious creamsicle-esque orange. Shop the rest of the just-in pieces below.

Loeffler Randall's Fall 2012 Shoes & Bags Are Here

Jessie Randall sure has a way with shoes.
Loeffler Randall Fall 2012 Shoes and Bags

Jessie Randall sure has a way with shoes. Over the past seven years, the sliver-wedge boots, wood-heeled pumps, and pointy-toe flats she's created for her line Loeffler Randall have become wardrobe mainstays — and each season's new batch of styles is somehow even more covetable than the last. It should come as no surprise, then, that the designer's first foray into bags is equally lust-worthy.

Inspired by men's briefcases, the bags come in an array of easy-carrying shapes that are feminine yet totally functional. The Rider bag, for example, is a work-perfect attaché that also happens to be equipped with adjustable straps — perfect for affixing to the front of one's bike. "It's got compartments for your iPad, your iPhone, all your credit cards," Randall explains. "We talked a little bit about the 'girl on the go' who just wants a minimal bag to carry things."

That sort of versatility and practicality has always been at the heart of Randall's line, and it doesn't hurt that the designer test-drives everything on herself. "I love the Gerta platform pump in red — it's a wow shoe that truly makes the look," she says
of her favorites for the season. "I've also been wearing the Gaia platform bootie a lot. Love that height with such a low pitch; it feels like I'm wearing flats so it's the best of both worlds."
