We spotted many well-dressed celebrities this week, but there were a handful of starlets who were extra inspiring. Gwen Stefani styled a sleek and sophisticated red leather look in Studio City, Jessica Alba's off-duty LA ensemble proved a pop of color is always fabulous, and Ali Larter worked an edgy-sweet combo perfect for any occasion while shopping in West Hollywood. See who else made the cut for this week's CelebStyle top stars, find out why we chose them, then shop their looks for yourself.
After seeing Jessica Alba's latest look, it's clear we made the right choice crowning her our street-style star of 2012. The actress stepped out in LA working a colorful striped sweater, ripped Level 99 denim, and suede buckled ankle boots. As if her off-duty style wasn't cool enough, she then accessorized with a pink and orange Theodora & Callum scarf ($155), a yellow Longchamp tote, and purple ankle socks for extra flair. Re-create this punchy ensemble for a weekend getaway with a striped sweater, ripped jeans, and a few equally eye-catching add-ons.

Coco Rocha isn't holding her tongue about a perceived "Photoshop fail" in her current Longchamp campaign with Emily DiDonato.
One of the ads, shot by Max Vadukul, shows DiDonato sitting on the back of a bicycle while Rocha steers. Since viewers can't see DiDonato's legs, and because Photoshop disasters have become so commonplace as of late, The Huffington Post was quick to question whether DiDonato's lower extremities had gotten the chop. Rocha responded:
"As you can see in the behind-the-scenes pictures above (which were posted everywhere a few months back) she's just balancing with her feet on the seat behind me. Skillful, I know, but no Photoshop disaster this time. . . I believe you stand corrected!"
Indeed, Rocha has never been afraid to speak her mind about the use of Photoshop in advertising and editorial work. In July, she tweeted, "Hey, Photoshop guys! Can you please be sure to count two arms and two legs on the girls you cut and paste? Thanks!! Sincerely, Models." Just before that, when her May cover of Elle Brazil was retouched to make it appear that she wasn't wearing a bra, Rocha dedicated a whole blog post to making it clear that she was.

Minka Kelly is the latest celebrity to get in on Hollywood's obsession with sneakers. While hanging out in West Hollywood, the actress sported a pair of silver studded high-top sneakers with faded skinny jeans that she rolled up, a gray long-sleeved t-shirt, Ray-Ban aviators, and a Longchamp crossbody bag ($595). Her bright-orange circle scarf added even more spunk to her casual ensemble. If you haven't dabbled with the sneaker trend yet, get yourself a snazzy studded pair like Minka's. This glittery Miu Miu pair ($494) would also jazz up all your outfits. To get Minka's entire look, shop similar pieces below.

"Buy a fake Cartier, get a genuine criminal record" — that's the warning one of France's new anticounterfeiting ads will send when it's displayed at airports this Summer.

In addition to Cartier, six other luxury brands (Chanel, Christian Dior, Lacoste, Longchamp, Louis Vuitton, and Van Cleef & Arpels) created visuals for the campaign, which is backed by the French luxury goods association Comitè Colbert and the French National Anti-Counterfeiting Committee, or CNAC. The ads will be installed at 18 of France's busiest airports to warn tourists of the dangers of buying replica luxury goods.

France counts possession of fake designer goods as a criminal offense, and owning a knockoff Dior bag can be punished by fines of up to €300,000 (just over $300,000 at current exchange) or a three-year prison sentence. Despite these harsh punishments, counterfeiting still costs French luxury houses $7.5 billion in lost revenue every year.

"Every time you buy a fake Lacoste, a fake Longchamp, a fake Chanel, you are shooting yourself in the foot on the values you hold dear," said Dior CEO Sidney Toledano.

There is no doubt about it, celebrities are obsessed with leather, and we particularly love how these eight ladies updated the trend by trading their leather pants for a pair of hot leather shorts. Eva Longoria, Miranda Kerr, Whitney Port, and way more have been spotted styling both black and colored leather shorts in every which way. Whether you aim for a professional yet playful look like Eva in tan leather shorts or want an edgier feel like Whitney and Miranda, step inside to shop our picks to find the perfect pair for you. Then be sure to also check out Hollywood's other leather obsessions: leather jackets and leather tops.
