Rosie Huntington-Whiteley took her British cool to the beaches of Malibu last weekend to spend some time with her pup, giving us some cute Summer style inspiration in the process. Rosie took what to some may be considered a classic daytime look and made it work for going straight from the beach to the street — she wore a pair of distressed cutoff denim shorts and paired it with a Parisian-chic Breton stripe sweater by J.Crew ($230) and Westward leaning Wayfarer sunglasses. Since she was on the beach, she understandably went barefoot (with a thin gold anklet, to boot), but we like to think she probably had a pair of her much-loved suede ankle booties nearby to throw on once headed away from the water.
