Never have neutral colors been more wearable than in the Summer, and community member Jackie Giardina showed us how it's done. Classic white shorts were dressed up with a flowing, jeweled, off-white blouse, while gold bangles and a tan bag added to the crisp look. As for the finishing touches, her tan-and-orange strappy sandals added an instant pop of color, and a pretty blue sunhat topped it all off — literally.

There are some outfits that just scream Summer — and this is one of them. Community member MissLeaanne kept things classically preppy in her cobalt blue sundress with white polka dots and coordinating blazer. She playfully reinterpreted the classic pearl necklace with her pair of pearl-encrusted sandals, adding a bit of unexpected whimsy to her outfit, and then polished things off with a jolt of color thanks to her hot pink purse and matching arm candy.

Now that it's getting warmer outside, it's finally time to show off a little more skin, and we love how community member NetteVartanian cleverly worked her crop top into a traditionally ladylike outfit. Her striped jacked and mustard-colored pencil skirt served as the perfect framework for her nautical crop top, which she complemented perfectly thanks to a white necklace and neutral strappy sandals. This is that sort of look that will make you do a double take — and we feel it would be perfect for everything from brunch to a chic outdoor dinner.

We'll be the first to admit that when Summer hits, the last thing we think about doing is piling on the layers, but community member gumbootglam made a pretty convincing argument for exactly the opposite. Her black maxi got some extra life thanks to her leather motorcycle vest and necklace — two cool-girl add-ons that helped make her all-black-everything look that much more stylish. And for footwear? Black perforated sandals — perfect for spending the day out on the town.

Sometimes the best part of an outfit lies in the cut of the garment. Community member JackieGiardina knows how to accessorize an ensemble to a T — just look at how her shoes, dress, and turquoise jewelry came together in a harmony of color — but the real magic of her outfit was in her flowing frock. It's hard to take your eyes off community member Twenties Girl's bright orange bag, isn't it? And it's not just because it's an ultrachic Céline luggage tote, and it isn't entirely due to its supervibrant shade, either — it's all because of the rest of her outfit. Her nautical-inspired blouse and dependably stylish pair of jeans jeans provided a true-blue backdrop against which her bag and matching shoes could pop. All she needed was a pair of classic shades, and her preppy ensemble was ready to set sail.

When was the last time you thought a black studded belt would look good with a cheery sundress? There's something about NetteVartanian's unexpected pairing that produces a perfect harmony. Aside from defining the waist of her A-line dress, her belt toned down the dress's bold pattern and vibrant colors. She finished her edged-out floral look with a pair of sunglasses to pick up on the geometry of her belt and a pair of shoes to tie the colors of her ensemble all together.

Some of the best looks can also be the simplest. Case in point: community member ontheinside's blue-and-white printed dress. The halter silhouette that hits just past the knee is classic and flattering, while also allowing her dress's sophisticated print to take center stage. A coordinating ribbon adds a hint of shape right at her waist, and some platform pumps finish her sleek summery look off with a little added polish.

Pairing a blazer with shorts is not an easy task, but POPSUGAR Fashion reader StyleCueSuzieQ showed us how to do it up right. The key to her success? Proportion. Her silky blazer was cut just long enough to skim the hemline of her ultrashort shorts, creating a look that was both polished and casual. She added color and pattern with a floral-print top and then toned the rest of her tailored outfit down with neutral accessories, like a great structured day bag and pointed heels. The devil of this look was really in the details — if her shorts were just a touch too long (or her jacket too short!), then she wouldn't look nearly as chic.
