Marc Jacobs has delivered a knockout Fall 2013 Louis Vuitton collection, emphasizing the intimacy and luxury of boudoir dressing. With a circular set of hotel doors surrounding an audience that included Naomi Watts and Jessica Chastain, models like Kate Moss and Lindsey Wixson showed off ladylike looks with plenty of sex appeal. Tweed suits with nipped-in waists had degrade sequins while panne velvet dresses clung to the body. The house's famous bags were rendered in fur and other luxe materials, leaving the logos off the runway. Click through to see all the photos from Louis Vuitton Fall 2013.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2013

Marc Jacobs certainly knows how to put a Fashion Month to bed.
Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 | Runway Review

Marc Jacobs certainly knows how to put a Fashion Month to bed. His Fall 2013 show for Louis Vuitton, presented Wednesday morning in the tented courtyard of the Louvre, was as elegant, comfortable, and spectacular as the boudoir-inspired slip dresses, coats, and pajama pants that came down the runway of his wallpapered hotel corridor set.

As the melancholy piano strains of Alexandre Desplat's "River" (used on the soundtrack for the film Tree of Life) began, models in close-cropped wigs emerged from numbered, wooden hotel doors that lined the periphery of the carpeted runway. Each model left the door to her room ajar — exposing black and white film projections and rooms filled with Louis Vuitton luggage — did one full turn on the runway, and then returned to her room and closed the door. Then the cycle repeated itself with different doors, different models, and different clothes until the final segment, when Kate Moss emerged in a low-cut, full-length, sheer gown decorated with embroidery. The audience cheered.
