>> INSIDER WIRE —During New York Fashion Week, everyone depends on The Daily to shorten the between-show wait time. Now, London Fashion Week has launched a Daily of it's own — and it's downloadable, so you can get the scoop and see those pig-shaped meringues from Luella everyone was talking about — just like the front row. On Our Radar: Luella at Urban Outfitters
I am so sorry to keep talking about autumn, I know we haven't even had Summer yet but with the current grey skies and rain I can't help but look forward to the new season. It has just been announced that Luella will design a collection for Urban Outfitters!
Log cabins. Maple syrup. Grunge. My 21st birthday D&G dress. These are all a few of my favorite plaid things. While you probably already have a plaid item in your closet, or your boyfriend's closet, plaid has gone a bit mad for Fall. Consider an Edwardian jacket and pants a la McQueen, a tucked and pleated dress at Thakoon, mismatched and buttoned up at D&G. But my favorite is the slightly punky, paired with gray tights anime-looking Luella girl (left). She may look a bit mad, but whether it's tartan, glen, or buffalo, it's the shape of plaids to come.

Oxymoron is a Luella girl minus the Luella price tag. She loved the designer's floral tiered mini skirts, but since she didn't want to pay the high price, she found a look for less! Smart girl for wearing a simple black tee and allowing the cutesy skirt to shine.
Here's what she's wearing:
- Top: Zara
- Skirt: Sfera
- Bag: Unknown
- Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Congrats to Oxymoron!

Luella's fun, floral frocks have been making their rounds but I'm most smitten with the tiered floral mini skirt that bug-eyed model Masha Tylena wore at the Spring '08 show. The designer has proven that little girls aren't the only ones who can pull off this style. Now if only she could have made it more affordable . . .

Trend Alert: Tiered Floral Miniskirts Last week we reported on Jaime Winstone's Bungalow 8 outfit, which included a tiered floral skirt from the latest Luella collection (pictured). The High Street have quickly taken on the trend for Spring providing those who can't stretch to a Luella original (myself included) with a good range of options!
Luella's lighthearted frocks are spreading joy everywhere these days. Kelly Osbourne wore the designer's floral mini dress to the South Bank Show Awards with black opaque tights and red earrings. Kimberly Stewart wore the same dress to the opening of H&M on Regent Street in London with a tied blue cardigan and black tights. Both ladies look hip, but who wins your heart?
