You may have heard of edgy clothing line MK2K — it's a celebrity favorite. Judging from its unique pieces (I love that cutout blazer, center) it's easy to see why so many swear by Michelle Kim's designs.
It all started when Kim couldn't find a sweater that was functional, stylish, and inexpensive. So in August 2006, MK2K started offering contemporary knits that retail for under $200. The Fall/Winter collection is made up of all things cozy — knit wraps, vest sweaters, and wool dresses. It's effortless without losing panache.
Celebrity Style: Ginnifer Goodwin
Big Love's season three premiere gathered many stylish actresses but Ginnifer Goodwin caught my eye. Just look at her in that dusty ruffled, tiered Camilla and Marc Alabama frock. It's a masterpiece — so delicate, so unique. In order to make the dress center of attention, the actress paired it with black opaque tights, black velvet pumps, and minimal jewels. I've got big love for this look, do you?

Celebrity Style: Selena Gomez
Adorable actress and singer, Selena Gomez, is making her debut on Fab. And what a stylish debut it is. She attended a Golden Globes gift lounge looking icy cool in her monochrome gray ensemble. On top she wore an asymmetrical ruffle blouse, topped with a light gray blazer. On bottom she wore gray skinny jeans and nude suede peep-toe pumps. Silver hoop earrings and a pendant necklace provide just enough accessories. I'm jumping on the icy-cool bandwagon, will you join me?

Trend Alert: Elongated Cardis

Hmmm. It's warm outside, but it might be chilly where I have to run errands — and pick up my caffeine fix at The Coffee Bean. What to wear? Elongated cardis are the perfect solution when you need a whisper-light layer. And, they're cool. They have a nonchalant attitude that you'll have, too. Just ask Ashley Tisdale, hand-in-hand with her man. Isn't life grand?
Trend Alert: Subtly Sparkly

Designers, and their followers (ahem) can't get enough of embellishments, i.e. mirrors, beading, embroidery and sequins. Beautiful in both the Winter and Summer, something subtly sparkly is the proper choice for a date night, a cocktail part-tay or if you just want to feel pretty. Ali Larter knows how to dazzle in her beige subtle sparkler. Because the aforementioned embellishments tend to be around the neckline and front of dresses, I suggest a lovely updo, as not to distract from the subtle sparkles. Again, Ali, nice work.
