It's finally here: Maison Martin Margiela's full collection for H&M has been revealed, and the clothing and accessories are true to the avant-garde fashion house's signature style.

A representative for the house said that the clothing would mostly be reissued pieces from the Margiela archives, and these garments definitely embody the classic oversize silhouettes, deconstructed styling, and incorporation of found objects the house became famous for. But while prices for original Margiela pieces can reach thousands of dollars, prices for this collaboration run from $13 to $399.

Several pieces are fusions of more than one type of garment. One of the women's bottoms melds a skirt with trousers; elsewhere, halves of two different dresses are combined. The house also turned everything from key rings, locks of hair, and faceless watches into inventive accessories.

Photographs of the collection have slowly been released since August — with sneak peeks at the collection's ad campaign and lookbook — building up to its Nov. 15 release date. A look at all the pieces in the collection, plus their prices, here in the gallery.
Margiela With H&M's Wordless Worldwide March
Is wearing Maison Martin Margiela's collaboration with H&M a political statement? Over the weekend, scores of people across the world took to the streets as though it was. Demonstrators in eight countries participating in the "Silent Manifesto" wore white aprons bearing the collaboration's logo and carried signs emblazoned with its launch date, Nov. 15.

San Francisco was the only city in the United States lucky enough to host one of these marches, but there were similar demonstrations in Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany, Austria, Romania, Canada, Italy, and Mexico.

Take a look at the marchers in Paris in the video below, plus images of the demonstrations in San Francisco and London here in the gallery.

The Maison Martin Margiela For H&M Capsule Makes Models Want to Dance

br>
In case you'd forgotten about the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration that's headed for H&M stores on Nov. 15, there's now a minute-long commercial to remind you just how cool it is.
The ad features four models dressed in the capsule collection, two of who stand in a calm repose on the streets of Paris. Another tries her best to balance on a chair in the Lucite heels from the collaboration, while a male model dances in an intersection.
Luckily, there aren't any traffic incidents — but the sound of a speeding motorcycle whizzing past one of the models brings a little depth to an otherwise surreal experience. A look at the commercial below.
Kanye West, Doutzen Kroes, and More Step Out For H&M's Margiela Collaboration

Celebrities including Kayne West, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Julianne Moore flocked to the party in downtown Manhattan. The collection was inspired by the archives and is filled with high-impact silhouettes and dramatic outerwear. Watch on to see and hear more about H&M's newest collaboration! On Allison McNamara: Shoshanna dress, Kendra Scott earrings, House of Lavande bracelet. Hair and makeup by Kasia Bohos. Additional reporting by Allie Merriam.
Who Wore What at the Maison Martin Margiela For H&M Bash
OK, so most of the notables wore pieces from the capsule, but that doesn't make it any less fun to look. In fact, it's pretty interesting to see which guest chose what: Leigh Lezark channeled a modern geisha in the collection's multiprint kimono, Mena Suvari took an adventurous turn in a flesh-colored bodysuit with a trompe l'oeil black bra, and Mia Moretti went head-to-toe scarlet in a red dress and plexiglass wedge shoe combo. All those, plus all the rest of the evening's chic arrivals, here.

Maison Martin Margiela's Hair Necklace For H&M

If you needed more evidence that wearing Maison Martin Margiela takes a certain kind of confidence, here it is: a hair necklace. Part of the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration with H&M, the piece comes in blond, brunette, and black varieties (sorry, redheads). Longtime fans of the Belgian design house will remember the original versions from years ago, but at $13, the new version is far more accessible — if only in price. It lands in H&M stores starting Nov. 15. If you're planning to shop this exclusive collection, will this lock of hair be on your to-buy list?

Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2013
The space where Maison Martin Margiela showed its Spring 2013 collection was made to look like a typically luxurious Paris salon, fireplaces and wainscoting included, all of which was covered up with white plastic sheeting. Only the ornate chandeliers hung from the ceiling poked through the material. The clothes themselves were a bit more direct, and almost simplistic save for a few jarring pieces and treatments designed, perhaps, to remind the audience that it was at a Margiela show. An oversize gray t-shirt, for example, skimmed the ground in the gown section of the show, following some elegant black exercises in evening dresses. The show's straightforward bent might have something to do with its much-anticipated collaboration with H&M, but whether the capsule will contain any cape-like navy blue dresses made of crinoline remains to be seen.
