Hervé Léger Designers Lubov and Max Azria on Updating the Bandage Dress
Backstage at the Fall 2011 Hervé Léger show, we interviewed Max and Lubov Azria on their new collection designed with a powerful "glamazon" woman — much like celebrity clients Charlize Theron, Hilary Swank, and Sharon Stone — in mind. Watch as the designing duo explain how they masterfully update their classic bandage dress each season and what sort of sexy tough-girl accents — think metal and leather — we should expect from them for Fall. Plus, find out what the Azrias are most excited for once the craziness of Fashion Week subsides!
Herve Leger Runway New York Fashion Week Fall 2011
For Fall 2011, Lubov and Max Azria did what they do best when it comes to Herve Leger: bandage dresses, of course. Yet unlike the miniskirts of collection past, this season saw a noticeable drop in hemlines — only to the knee, not to worry you girls-about-town — and the occasional fluid skater skirt. The palette stayed in neutral territory with models turned out in white, black, and gold, while slouchy knee-high boots offered a slight tribal vibe. To see all the looks watch our coverage now!

Henson were spotted — we caught up with designer Max Azria who revealed what trends are on the horizon, the hot colors to look out for come Fall, and big hair and makeup trends for next season. Plus, check out the full runway right here on FabSugarTV.
Spring 2011 New York Fashion Week: Herve Leger
Max Azria's Herve Leger Spring 2011 runway show featured a mix of body-hugging dresses in a variety of fabrics, from leather to lace. A red carpet favorite for many of Hollywood's biggest names, the collection incorporated strategically-placed cutouts and creative perforations in its designs. Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr, among other high-profile fans, was spotted admiring the collection at the show.
Emmys Style: Amy Poehler
Mere weeks after giving birth, Amy Poehler looked stunning on the red carpet at the 2010 Emmy Awards. She wore a very flattering, light blue Max Azria dress, which complemented her blond hair beautifully. Beyond that, she wore a pair of oversize earrings and simple pumps. Shop similar items now.

Trend Alert: Slashed
No doubt it would turn Freddy Krueger on. Dresses and skirts are finding themselves purposely slashed. An easy DIY project, but leave it to the pros to outfit the stars — Halle's champagne slashed Gucci dress is beyond sexy. Me? I've already taken some scissors to an old tee. I admit, I went a little aggro on one, but I can at least sleep in my slashed victim. Lesson here is: slash with caution. Whether store-bought or self-fashioned, this is one killer trend.
