>> Natalia Vodianova and her new boyfriend, Antoine Arnault, (son of LVMH head Bernard Arnault) haven't been snapped together since August, when a vacation in Ibiza tipped off their romantic relationship. But last night they were back in the public eye. Vodianova, a face of the LVMH-owned Guerlain, hosted a private sale of jewelry she created with designer Yulia Fosty at the brand's flagship in Paris. Proceeds for The Russian Fairy Tale collection, as it was called, went to the Naked Heart Foundation, which Vodianova founded to finance playgrounds and support centers for underprivileged children in Russia.
>> During Harper's Bazaar UK's Annual Women of the Year Awards last night at Claridges in London, guests were treated to the world premiere of Duran Duran's new "Girl Panic!" video, featuring Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Yasmin Le Bon, Cindy Crawford, and Eva Herzigova. Sarah Burton was spotted laughing with the band and was later presented with the Designer of the Year award by a McQueen-dressed Florence Welch. And Tom Ford won the Man in a Woman's World award, presented by a Ford-dressed Natalia Vodianova, who thanked him for “coming back to us women” after a womenswear absence.
>> On to the next: Not a week after Paris Fashion Week ended, fashion's attention has already been shifted to London, where the Frieze Art Fair gets under way today. Yesterday, designers Alber Elbaz and Phoebe Philo, art dealers Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld and Philo's husband, Max Wigram, plus Natalia Vodianova, Caroline Sieber, and Valentino Garavani were all spotted taking in the wares at the VIP preview.
Between the Emmys, London and Milan Fashion Weeks, and NYC's Ballet Gala, there were lots of fashionable fêtes happening this week — and our favorite style stars hit the red carpet dressed to the nines. While some stuck with short frocks, a select few went all out in sleek, sophisticated, floor-length gowns. Sienna Miller partied in beaded Dior, Natalia Vodianova dazzled in feathered Givenchy Couture, and a pregnant Beyoncé showed off her growing bump in a clingy Lanvin number. Click through to see the 10 glamorous gowns we're loving from the week.
>> We won't get to see Natalia Vodianova in her first starring film role — as a married Swiss woman who has a love affair with a Jewish diplomat on the brink of World War II, opposite Jonathan Rhys-Meyers — in Belle du Seigneur until next year. But almost a year after Vodianova was spotted filming with Rhys-Meyers in Italy, a selection of stills from the movie have popped up.
>> Natalia Vodianova confirmed her split from billionaire Justin Portman after nine years of marriage in June, adding that she had a new boyfriend. Now, it appears that the boyfriend — who Vodianova admitted she was in love with — is none other than the son of billionaire and LVMH head Bernard Arnault, 34-year-old Antoine Arnault. Vodianova and Arnault — who serves as head of marketing and communications at Louis Vuitton, as well as managing director of Berluti — were snapped on vacation with her children in Ibiza, kissing, holding hands, and hugging. Stella McCartney, who just launched her newly revamped website today, is next up to reveal her Fall ad featuring one of favorite models, Natalia Vodianova. Staying true to McCartney's English roots, the shoot, by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, took place in a private Oxfordshire home inside a serene topiary garden with Vodianova wearing an eye-catching black, sheer, polka-dot dress. Notice how the modern juxtaposition between the black and white photo and green garden adds major contrast. Of course, Natalia looks flawless as usual, with smoky eyes and perfectly tousled hair. We love it — are you just as enamored?
>> Not only did Stella McCartney introduce her Fall 2011 ad campaign — shot by photographers of the season Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in the topiary garden of a private Oxfordshire, England home, featuring Natalia Vodianova — today, she also rolled out a new iPad app edition and e-commerce for 28 more European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
New features to the iPad app include backstage footage from her Fall 2011 show in Paris and a “making of” video of the dresses McCartney designed for the most recent Costume Institute Gala, while the enhanced e-commerce site now boasts a “reserve in store” option that allows customers order online and pick the order up in the store of their choice, and the ability to book private in-store shopping appointments online.
The theme of this year's Love Ball was White Fairy Tale, setting the tone for an ethereal, incredibly beautiful evening on the grounds of Valentino Garavani's 17th century Chateau de Widewille. While they were there to raise money for Natalia Vodianova's Naked Heart Foundation, which builds playgrounds for impoverished neighborhoods in Russia, fashion played a huge role. Most of the attendees, including Anne Hathaway and Olivia Palermo, chose white and silver dresses in keeping with the dress code, but there were some bold exceptions. Natalia wore a striking Valentino red gown and veil, while Daphne Guinness made a statement in a rainbow hued gown. Click the slideshow to see the gorgeous looks from the Love Ball.
