Before she hears the good news, Onyinye and Allison take a tour of BCBG's official headquarters, where the design team is perfecting the Fall collection and models are being casted for the runway. It's just days until the big show, and One of a Kind is catching all the last-minute preparation with Lubov Azria herself.

Heading backstage at New York Fashion Week, we picked up a plethora of beauty tips. Hair, nail, and makeup experts give us premium access to their favorite tricks (particularly of the time-saving sentiment, since their jobs involved getting 30 or so models out in under an hour). So today we're paying it forward and letting you in on the top seven beauty tricks we learned at NYFW. They have truly changed our lives!

When it came to makeup trends, the New York Fashion Week Fall 2013 runways were alive with color. High-voltage hues in the form of fuchsia lips graced models' faces at Diane von Furstenberg. Cat eyes got an upgrade at Michael Kors, thanks to artist Dick Page's masterful sweep of smoky black and soft pink hues. According the New York Fashion Week runways, Fall 2013 hair trends will likely lean in the direction of braids, ponytails, and '90s grunge. In short, there's something for everyone: slicked-back ponytails like we saw from stylist Orlando Pita at Michael Kors, milkmaid braids spotted at Alice + Olivia, and plenty of grungy texture, as lead stylist Paul Hanlon created on models' strands backstage at 3.1 Phillip Lim. It was about the future at Theyskens' Theory's Fall 2013 show, from the minimalist clothing to the clean, fresh skin. Designer Olivier Theyskens worked with James Kaliardos for MAC to execute the woman of the future, putting the focus on a diffused, lit-from-within complexion. The hair, by Kérastase's Odile Gilbert, felt equally polished and yet untouched, with strands slicked back into a headband for a cool waterfall effect.
