New York Fashion Week: Nicole Miller Spring 2010
Celeb Style: Sienna Miller
Sienna Miller stood out amongst major fashion heads last night at the NYC premiere of The September Issue wearing an icy-blue confection by Thakoon. I love how the ruched strapless bodice and short hemline emotes major flirt factor. For extra panache, the cover star wore gold Jimmy Choo sandals, chandelier earrings, clear Lennon-esque sunnies, and a fancy Bottega Veneta woven clutch. No doubt, Sienna's on fire with her recent red-carpet creations.

Celeb Style: Rumer Willis
Rumer Willis attended the Spread premiere in LA in support of step-dad Ashton Kutcher, donning a beautiful crinkled Karen Millen metallic dress — j'adore the texture. To offset her fancy flow, she toughened things up with a pair of funky Christian Louboutin Paquita gladiator sandals, stacked bangles, and a satin clutch. The ideal mix of pretty and punk.

Nicole Miller Draped Firecracker Dress: Love It or Hate It?
With a name like firecracker, this Nicole Miller Draped Firecracker Dress ($219, originally $365) is the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth. Or is it? It will definitely make you stand out from the crowd, but will it also make you detract from the real fireworks? The colors and print are unique but I'm not so sold on the drape front. I would have preferred a more fitted, sexier version. Perhaps a miniskirt. What do you say?

Trend Alert: Secret Sequins
There's this theory that sequins can be too flashy and thus trashy. If a glimmering Alexander McQueen head-to-toe bodysuit is freaky to you, secret sequins may strike your fancy. Kate Walsh donned Stella McCartney's nude tank with gray ombre jeans and she looks friggin' fantastic. And we weren't even there. I'd imagine the sparkles radiated in the Monte Carlo sun. Ever so subtly, though, that's the secret.
Fab's April Most Wanted
I know what you're thinking: I can't believe it's already April. My friends, April is one of the best months! Spring has sprung, Summer is around the corner, you still have time to get in shape, and you have plenty of resources to assemble your warm-weather wardrobe. Sales are already sprouting and the sun is shining. What is there to complain about? Niente. My eyes are locking on optimistic goods, like these insanely fun Fendi strappy patent two-tone sandals ($615). Revel in it.
March Shopping Madness! Candy-Colored Metallics
Metallics, metallics. Been there, done that. Don't let me be misunderstood, j'adore the flash and fun of metallics, but life must go on. Fashion must evolve. And so, candy-colored metallics have emerged. Femme rose gold, glam purple, striking green, and cool blue are the new metallic hues. Come Fall it's going to be a full-on candy store so get a grip on this trend while it's cool — before it's hot.
