For Spring 2014, her fourth ready-to-wear collection yet first runway show, Misha Nonoo found inspiration not in a far-off locale as she has previously (Russia, Havana, and France have all been strongly referenced in past presentations), but in the abstract. Artist Gerhard Richter and his iconic squeegee paintings inspired the designer, who placed a similarly crafted "looking glass" pastel print on pleated skirts and tailored trousers. As for the rest of the collection, it was pitch-perfect Nonoo — well-tailored, delightfully feminine, and lusciously textured (we wanted to reach out and touch the georgettes and organzas) with just a wee bit of edge. Just saying, there was nothing abstract about those sheer track pants.
Safe Haven, starring Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough, hit the big screen on Feb. 14, but we've been following Julianne's promotional tour since the beginning. From LA to Toronto and beyond, the actress has been showing off the most a range of red-carpet wear, keeping it interesting by mixing it up with cocktail dresses, gowns, and separates. Most recently, Julianne showed off a beautiful lace fit-and-flare Zuhair Murad dress with black embellishments at the Berlin premiere, then chose a Houghton floral peplum gown for the Dublin premiere. Step inside for a closer look at all of the actress's looks thus far.

Emmy Rossum attended the screening of Beautiful Creatures in NYC last night wearing a beautiful navy dress, black strappy Charlotte Olympia sandals, and colorful drop earrings, but it was the geometric-print Nonoo coat she sported on her way inside that really made an impression. We've been seeing a lot of amazing printed outerwear lately, and Emmy's look reminded us how a single piece of clothing can elevate an entire ensemble. Plus, the actress's satin pick is a seasonal-transition staple, working well from one season to the next. Layer up with sweaters and pants now; dresses and skirts later. Thus, we set out to find equally stunning Spring coats that will add the perfect mix of textural intrigue, color, and dynamic to the rest of your outfit.Click for our editors' Spring-coat picks.
You have your mature pantsuit (the ones you're allowed to wear to work or as an alternative to a cocktail dress), then you have the more playful version, the shorts suit. This fun bunch gained popularity last Spring when a slew of designers like Jason Wu, Michael Kors, and Tory Burch sent them strutting down the catwalk. Since then, celebrities have borrowed the leg-baring runway trend and brought them to the sidewalk (and red carpet). Among the most recent to rock the look are Ginnifer Goodwin and Julianne Hough, both in Nonoo. Ginnifer's cobalt tuxedo-style shorts suit featured chic white piping, while Julianne's navy suit was brought to life via a jewel-collar blouse and lace-up sandals. It might be too frigid in some places right now to wear a shorts suit sans tights, but it's the perfect Spring companion for both daytime and nighttime fun. Take a good look at these stunning ladies in their shorts suits, then tell us, would you adopt the trend?
Gwyneth Paltrow stepped out in NYC to support her friend Tracy Anderson on her new workout launch, The Pregnancy Project. For the occasion, the actress donned an ivory knit short-sleeved sweater with a coordinating ivory Misha Nonoo wool skirt from the Spring 2013 collection. Adding a pop of bright color were a pair of red suede Sergio Rossi pumps, while a black studded clutch and some arm candy lent shine. Gwyneth's latest red-carpet look is the perfect color palette and silhouette for Fall, so shop similar pieces below to get her look now.
Inspired by a long-ago visit to the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, designer Misha Nonoo created a vibrant, tropical, and chic collection for Spring 2013. Check out all the pictures from Nonoo's Spring 2013 collection and come back soon for our full review.
New York-based designer Misha Nonoo is simultaneously feeling sporty and romantic for Spring 2013; models wore both crisp white sneakers and Frida Kahlo-style ribbon headpieces. Feeding into the flirty side of the collection were vintage-inspired floral dresses, lace details, and ruffled skirts, while cobalt drawstring trousers, piped short suits, and loose-fitting shorts lent a more relaxed look. Delicate prints and bright colors, as well as bursts of crisp whites, gave the collection an exuberant flair.
Misha Nonoo's rich, refined Fall collection was inspired by the impeccable tailoring of Savile Row and paid a quiet homage to French cinematic legend Anouk Aimée and Francoise Sagan's 1958 film Bonjour Tristesse. In addition to her signature jackets, the recent Rising Star Award winner showed collared blouses in hammered silks, paired with perfectly cut trousers and luxe fur accents — conveying the importance of silhouette and form in each look.

Sophia Bush took a break from taking in runway shows to take in a movie, and looked unbelievably stylish while doing it. For the NYC premiere of I Don't Know How She Does It, Sophia wore a gold sequined short suit that was quite literally ripped from the runway — her Nonoo Fabrizia jacket and Bonafina shorts were shown as part of designer Misha Nonoo's NYFW presentation just last Friday. Not only do we admire Sophia's dedication to wearing Spring trends right as they emerge; but we have to give her props for wearing the look as is, plus putting her own spin on it by adding a pair of black pumps and a vintage Chanel pendant necklace. Even when worn separately, the pieces pack a glamorous punch, and will easily dress up any pair of jeans or plain white tee. Though the Nonoo pieces likely won't be available for some time, you can shop similar pieces below to create your own gold sequined look.
