Tom Cruise Turns Up the Charm and Shoots Down a Rumor at the Oblivion Premiere

Tom Cruise hugged, chatted, and giggled with his costars at the Oblivion premiere in LA last night.

Tom Cruise hugged, chatted, and giggled with his costars at the Oblivion premiere in LA last night. He made a Burberry-wearing Olga Kurylenko crack a smile on the red carpet and later shared a big hug with Andrea Riseborough, who wore a glamorous Elie Saab frock. He also flirted with his fans, who had crowded the Dolby Theatre for a chance to see Tom, who signed autographs and even kissed the hand of one woman. Other stars at the event included Game of Thrones knight Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Melissa Leo, and Morgan Freeman, who spent his time on the red carpet chatting with Olga and Tom while decked out in a tuxedo.

This was Olga's second big premiere in a row as she attended the screening of To the Wonder with costars Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams the previous night. She's had a packed schedule for the past few weeks, traveling the globe with Tom to premiere their film in South America and Europe. While in Germany, news circulated that Tom had commented that he "didn't expect" his divorce from Katie Holmes during an interview on a TV show. However, his rep now reveals that the quotes were entirely fabricated and he didn't address his recent divorce at all. We were on hand at the LA premiere to chat with Tom, Olga, and the rest of the cast — check back for our interviews soon!

To the Wonder costars Rachel McAdams (with newly dyed red hair) and Olga Kurylenko offered up a cool discourse on light vs. dark cocktail dressing at the film's LA premiere last night. We love a softer hue at night — when done right — and there's really no better person to champion the cause than Kurylenko. The brunette starlet took a break from her Oblivion promo tour duties and chose a light-blush-toned, high-low-hem dress for the occasion, finishing it off with a matching satin clutch and nude sandals. Meanwhile, McAdams went with a black lace number that fit a more traditional nighttime styling bill, albeit with a sexy curve-hugging, skin-revealing twist. With outfit breakdown at hand, it's time for you to decide who did party fare best last night.

Plenty of other stars turned out for the movie's debut, including Homeland's Morena Baccarin, Zachary Levi, and How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radnor. He said, "I'm preparing myself to take on some more of the burden [at home]. She's got a couple of movies coming up, so it's going to be a little Mr. Mom action, and I'm going to get back in the ring and we're going to see if I still have it."

Rachel has been spending her time in LA working on her press duties for the film, which hits theaters on Friday, April 12. She stopped by Disneyland with her friends and family earlier this month and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, where she revealed that she got hallucinations after buying pot in her native Toronto.

Later, Tom and Olga buddied up for a premiere. For the nighttime event, Olga picked a lilac Elie Saab gown. Tom introduced the big-budget film with a few words about wanting to go to Russia. He said, "I was always, you know, pushing the studios to say 'Look, I want to travel, I want to make films in different countries, with different actors.' It's one of the reasons that I started to produce films, because I love movies, but I also wanted to create stories that would allow a multi-cultural experience."

The duo moved on to Russia following a promotional stop in Brazil. Olga and Tom attended the Rio debut of Oblivion, and she apparently greatly enjoyed being there. She tweeted, "I loved Rio! Didn't stay long enough though. But I did have one to have a walk on the beach."
