With warmer weather inspiring a move to lighter fabrics and brighter colors, even our denim reflects the change. Instead of heavy, thick-ply fabrics and dark hues, we're scooping up vintage washes, easy wide-leg silhouettes, and jeans that capitalize on our favorite trends. Of course, that means lots of flares and high waists, along with a few surprises. Click through for the 10 Spring-perfect denim styles to score for the season!
Celeb Style: Sienna Miller
When it comes to easy chic, Sienna Miller has a knack for styling up the kind of looks we want to emulate. This one in particular is a lesson in transitional street styling that's not hard to re-create. Just pull together wardrobe staples, like a pair of classic-wash skinnies and a creamy white knit. We love Sienna's longer anorak ($80, originally $198) — perfectly styled to beat the Spring chill. Finish off with a pair of lace-up field boots ($68) and a metallic bag to lend just a hint of glam. Feeling inspired? Just shop our picks above to get the same laid-back cool look.

The Best Jeans For Spring!
>> While we already discussed all the out-of-the-box denim possibilities come Spring, we've yet to talk about finding the essential pair of jeans. Lucky for you, we sifted through a ton of options and found the best around — think cropped and flared, white skinnies, and lightwash trousers — that are sure to carry you through Spring and well into Summer.
Trend Alert: Pegged Pants
Remember pegged pants circa the '90s? Well, they're back and actually more flattering than during their earlier years due to slick tailoring and a slimmer silhouette. Try pairing this revised style with a silk blouse and ferosh heels for a dressier look, or go all-out old-school and pair it with a casual tee and Keds. Not convinced? Opt out of purchasing pre-pegged pants and DIY an existing pair of pants from your own closet. All you have to do is nip, tuck, and roll!
Celeb Style: Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa was spotted in Santa Monica wearing Rachel Zoe's must-have accessory: the floppy hat! Notice how it elevates her cool burnout tee and denim combo. A pair of brown buckled wedges, layered gold chains, and a black Balenciaga satchel complete her casual cool Cali ensemb. I think I need a floppy hat, too . . .

New York Fashion Week, Fall 2010: What Did Fab Pack?
I'm ready to go. Unfortunately, a powerful lady called Mother Nature is hanging up my New York Fashion Week. Flights are delayed, shows postponed, due to a big Winter storm happening right now. But I'm all packed! I'm based out of San Francisco and therefore travel to NYC every Fashion Week. Packing has always been a challenge. Isn't it the worst when you really want to wear something on a trip and you didn't bring it? That used to happen to me all the time at Fashion Week — and when what you wear is imperative to making an impression, it blows. I also used to bring too much. For some reason I didn't feel like I could wear something twice . . .
Reality check: I've got tons of great clothes, laundry is possible, and no one is really looking at me; it's all about who's in the front row. Plus, I like to be comfortable and am constantly in motion. I went from bringing three pairs of heels to one — strictly for parties. These days, February Fashion Week is all about vintage coats, cashmere, black, blue, cool layers, sequins and embroidery, exotic prints, flirty skirts, flats boots, favorite jewelry, and fresh hats. One large suitcase and one small, which carries my outerwear and trusty laptop. Want to see exactly what I packed?

Celeb Style: Michelle Trachtenberg
Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg's cunning, casual 'fit caught me dead in my clicks this morning. While grabbing a cup of joe, she layered up in a striped tee, oatmeal cardi, and cool print scarf — I love the toasty color scheme. Black jeans temper the warm tones, while brown boots and a dark green Balenciaga bag add a luxe touch.

The Look For Less: Paige Denim Black Label Skinny Leather Pants
It takes a while to warm up to leather pants because of their motorcycle-biker connotation, but surprisingly, a lot of you would wear them. My philosophy is less biker, more rocker, with a feminine twist. I have a pair of liquid leggings, but pants are cool because you can wear them with more cropped tops. These Paige Denim Black Label Skinny Leather Pants ($398) would be heavenly with an airy ivory chiffon blouse and a loose cardigan. But since I don't need real leather, I found a faux pair that's equally chic and not as pricey.
Trend Alert: Denim de Blanco
Fab may be going through a white phase. But let's admit: white is white hot! Especially when Gisele is wearing denim de blanco (and a Phillip Lim blouse. I actually lived in my cropped white jeans last weekend and made it to Sunday night without a spot. If you're resistant to the heat, I recommend a slim cut, no matter what your body type. Or, a slight boot cut. And heels always slim one right up. We can't all look like Gisele in this Summer staple, but we can sure try.
Calling All Jean-Loving Twilight Fanatics!
Do you think it's a mystical coincidence Selena Gomez is dating Twilight's Taylor Lautner and wearing Paige's Eclipse jeans? Think you're the biggest Twilight fan(atic)? Think again. Show your vamp pride by picking up a pair of Paige's Eclipse jeans ($165). I happen to be reading the third book as I write so it's also a mystical coincidence that I bring you the 411. These jeans aren't all talk — the wash is a deep, navy blue made of Paige’s signature stretch denim infused with XLA Luxury Stretch Fiber, meaning they stretch both horizontally and vertically. Bet all that stretch comes in handy when you're cutting a rug with a werewolf . . .
