This week I was craving a leathered-up look. I wanted something city-slick and a little sexy to take the streets in style. Call us crazy but as much as we like to look at six-inch platforms in fashion spreads, the thought of wearing them never crosses our mind. I love me some patent leather flats, and without meaning to, I have quite the personal collection. I won't say I've reached my quota — that'll never happen — and these cute vintage black flats ($19) are definitely tempting.
Thank goodness they're not my size, because the polka dot motif would look perfect with a bright-colored dress for Spring. If you're a size 8, they're calling your name . . .
I love clogs. Whether they have traditional hand-painted flowers on them or are cosmopolitan slick, like these Sanita Black Patent Leather Clogs ($115), which are the closest thing I've found to a super comfortable and cute shoe.
