This week I was craving a leathered-up look. I wanted something city-slick and a little sexy to take the streets in style. You all answered the call with Fab leather looks to dress me up, but it's calicocobuble's picks that delivered everything I was hoping for. I love the mix of attention-grabbing jewels and bold leather picks — this is a seriously hot leather look.
Shopping: J.Crew Does Office-Ready Patent Shoes For Spring

Call us crazy but as much as we like to look at six-inch platforms in fashion spreads, the thought of wearing them never crosses our mind. Running around in New York, even a standard four inch heel can spell trouble. That's why we love J.Crew's Joley shoe--it comes as a chic flat or three inch heel and in a variety of fresh summer colors. On cobblestone streets and subway stairs it makes all the difference.

Fab Redux: Dotty

I love me some patent leather flats, and without meaning to, I have quite the personal collection. I won't say I've reached my quota — that'll never happen — and these cute vintage black flats ($19) are definitely tempting.
Thank goodness they're not my size, because the polka dot motif would look perfect with a bright-colored dress for Spring. If you're a size 8, they're calling your name . . .
Guess Which Designer Named These Black Stilettos After a Famous Chloe?

Simply Fab: Sanita Black Patent Leather Clog

I love clogs. Whether they have traditional hand-painted flowers on them or are cosmopolitan slick, like these Sanita Black Patent Leather Clogs ($115), which are the closest thing I've found to a super comfortable and cute shoe.
I know what you're thinking: They look like hospital shoes. But I saw a girl wearing these last weekend and thought they looked very functional chic. The bit of height and tread on the bottom prevent exposure and slippage in murky, icy waters and the patent leather makes them acceptable in fashion circles. You ask what kind of stylish shoe one can wear in a blizzard? Look no further.
