Cool Prints and Tailored Separates at Paris Men's Fashion Week!
The verdict is in as Paris Men's Fashion Week came to an exciting end over the weekend. Spring '11 conjured up a variety of styles ranging from streamlined suits to radical printed pants. Our attention immediately went to Givenchy's rocker cool leopard prints and Paul Smith's urban separates. Also noted were some bohemian influences from Alexis Mabille and the reappearance of baggy pants a la John Galliano. Could they be making a fashion comeback?!

Cool Idea: Paul Smith's Art Smorgasbord
British fashion designer Paul Smith is always full of surprises. I couldn't help but admire the mismatched medley of art on the walls of his New York store. Be it a framed letter, poster, painting, ink drawing, or photograph, each piece carries with it a story. The styles, colors, eras, sizes, and mediums vary, yet they all fit together beautifully.
To re-create this look, scavenge flea markets, thrift stores, eBay, antique stores, or even your child's drawing stash for a variety of art pieces. Frame memorable letters, scarves — pretty much anything that makes you happy. Just pick pieces you love: whether or not they "go together" isn't really the point. Do you have any tips on hanging a grouping of incongruous art?

21 Hair and Makeup Looks You WON'T Be Wearing Come Spring
From the runways onto department and drugstore shelves, I'm sure we'll see lots of fresh new makeup options and application techniques go full circle come March. Last month in New York, we saw six very wearable trends emerge, from peach lips to bold eyeliner to heavy-handed under-the-eye liners. But throughout the course of New York Fashion Week and other Spring 2010 shows, including Paris, London, and Milan, there were other looks that won't quite make the transition. Take this sequin forehead heart-shaped applique, for instance — straight from the Ungaro show in Paris, for which Lindsay Lohan acted as artistic adviser. While I appreciate each and every designer's artistic flair, some looks just won't translate to real life. See what I mean now.
