With only eight days to go until New Year's Eve, I thought it fitting to pay homage to the quintessential party girl and ladylike legend, Holly Golightly. The iconic image of Miss G enjoying coffee and a croissant while gazing into Tiffany's is permanently ingrained in my head. Holly was the ultimate glamorous girl-about-town, and she always dressed the part. Get her glam look with a long black sheath dress ($80), shiny kitten heels, and elbow-length gloves. Make the look modern with a crystal headband and sequin clutch — and don't forget the pearls.
Look of the Day: Pretty in Plum

Brunettbella livens up her getup with a pair of bright stockings. Her pretty in plum tights gives her look a step above the rest. I love how she's on to Spring's new pearl trend — rock it girl!
Here's what she has on:
- Dress: Gina Tricot
- Leggings: H&M
- Boots: Wedins
- Necklace: Unknown
Congrats to Brunettbella!

The Look For Less: Lanvin Pearl & Satin Necklace

Pearls are fabulous, but they tend to give off a highly-sophisticated vibe. For those times when you want a more quirky option, there's Lanvin's Pearl & Folded Satin Necklace ($715). I first crushed on it when I saw a similar version around the delicate neck of Sarah Michelle Gellar. It's chic without being stuffy . . . and way out of my jewelry budget.
