As soon as lil girls learn about princesses, they'll be asking for their very own tiara and tea set, in hopes of hosting their own Beauty and the Beast tea party. What I love about these sets is that they are made from materials like porcelain, fine china, stoneware, or tin, so moms can have real tea parties with their own lil princesses (maybe swap in an English Breakfast for you and a Chamomile for your lil lady). Buying a set that's real porcelain, or one of the other materials, ensures its longevity, will allow you both to enjoy it, and your daughter will have it for years to come — I still hold on to my Peter Rabbit set! It's not about the quantity, but the quality of the time you spend together. Standing in line to drop my son off at school, I overheard two moms talking about their weekends filled with birthday parties and visits with relatives when one blurted out a confession, "I feel guilty, but I'm just not good at playing with my kids.
