Last night's red-carpet launch of the Prabal Gurung for Target collection was a total feast for the eyes; besides getting to check out all the beautiful pieces, we were treated to a stylish carnival complete with rides, games, and tons of fun decor. The "date night"-inspired event was the perfect kickoff to New York Fashion Week and Valentine's Day, and we got the chance to chat with the designer himself. Prabal told us all about his inspiration for the collection, his "immense love for women and girls," and his tips for styling up the perfect date-night look. He also let us in on which pieces you must snap up when the collection hits Target stores on Feb. 10. Check it all out in this Fashion Flash!

Celebs Were All About the Hot-Off-the-Runway Gowns at the SAG Awards
The award season is a time when the celebrities pull out all of the fashion stops. We're talking about decadent jewels, perfect hair, standout footwear, and, of course, gorgeous gowns. Last night's SAG Awards didn't disappoint in any of the above categories, as we witnessed a bevy of A-list actresses dressed to the nines. With that said, there were a select few that got to wear extraspecial dresses — the kind straight off the runway. With only weeks since the Pre-Fall '13 lineups debuted, and literally just days since the Spring '13 Couture shows, designers were more than eager to offer up their beautiful gowns for celebrities to wear on the red carpet last evening. We're talking about Jennifer Lawrence's stunning navy Christian Dior Haute Couture gown, Anne Hathaway's sheer Giambattista Valli — both gowns made their debut on the runway less than a week ago — and Amanda Seyfried's Pre-Fall Zac Posen mermaid confection. Click on to see more celebrities in their fresh-off-the-runway looks at the SAG Awards now.
SAG Awards: January Jones
A far cry from Betty Francis's (formerly Mrs. Draper) demure dresses and suits on Mad Men, January Jones lived up to her fashion-forward reputation on tonight's red carpet with her black and white Prabal Gurung gown — and the hair to match. The curve-conscious gown may have been sleek and simple from the waist down, but up top, a sheer white, ruffled and halter-style neckline upped the ante on her style. Hair and makeup were just another opportunity for January to embolden her look with a bright red lip and striking smoky eye, which she also coupled with a slicked-back bouffant. Do you love it or do you wish January had taken a style cue from her onscreen alter ego?

Jennifer Lawrence's Gorgeous Black Prabal Gurung Gown Can Be Yours, Too
While Jennifer Lawrence's red Dior Couture gown from the Golden Globes may be top of mind — although we fully expect her to outdo herself in the coming weeks — we have to let you in on some runway-to-reality fodder. That gorgeously sexy black Prabal Gurung cutout creation she wore to the Critics' Choice Awards is exclusively available to preorder on Moda Operandi. With a fairly steep price tag and an estimated delivery date of June 1, this hand-draped leather yoke gown ($4,550) isn't exactly an impulse buy, but listen, if you regularly find yourself dressing for black-tie events (or just want to treat yourself), this is a no-brainer. Its skin-baring reveals never veer into the too-much-skin territory and the floor-skimming train injects a subtle amount of Old Hollywood glamour. Lest we forget, the sweetheart neckline and leather detailing provide the perfect juxtaposition of a sweet vs. tough sensibility. And, just like Jennifer did, you too could find yourself on the receiving end of some stunned reactions. What other kind of response could you illicit from this kind of head-turning gown?

Speaking of romance, it's fitting that this collaboration would launch so close to Valentine's Day. Gurung said these clothes were made for falling in love.
br>
"The collection is inspired by a girl's journey through the different stages of love and the clothes she wears during each milestone — from the first date to meeting the parents to the engagement," Gurung said.
