Kate Moss Spills on the Supermodel Competition

Kate Moss recently revealed which supermodels she thinks are hot — and which are not.

Kate Moss recently revealed which supermodels she thinks are hot — and which are not.

Moss told The New York Times that she admires the Brazilian beauty Raquel Zimmermann for being so versatile. Of Lara Stone, Moss said, "I think she's very hot, with her boobs and her teeth. Though my husband says she's not his cup of tea."

As for Christy Turlington, a woman who Moss once thought of as the best in her class: "The last time I saw Christy, she was wearing a twin-set," Moss said. "You can think twin-set, but you can't wear one."

Sarah Burton took the dramatic route for Alexander McQueen's latest set of Fall ads, featuring Raquel Zimmermann.
Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 Campaign

Sarah Burton took the dramatic route for Alexander McQueen's latest set of Fall ads, featuring Raquel Zimmermann. Shot by David Sims, the apocalyptic setting depicts a glowing Raquel wearing Burton's intricately designed pieces for the fashion house. The contrast between the dark (desolate valleys and burnt ashes) and light (Burton's highly artistic designs) surely catches our attention — do you agree? Check out the rest of the campaign in the slideshow then tell us your thoughts.

>> Just as it has been announced that the Costume Institute's "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" set an attendance record over the weekend, the house's Fall 2011 ad campaign — featuring Raquel Zimmermann in her own kind of savage beauty, captured by David Sims — has dropped.

As of Sunday night, more than 582,000 people have seen the "Savage Beauty" show, surpassing the previous record — for a fashion exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art — of 576,000, set by “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” in 2008. The McQueen exhibit closes in a week on Aug. 7, and is expected by that time to rank among the Met's 20 most popular exhibitions, since the museum began tracking attendance 50 years ago.

>> For his second-ever ad campaign, Alexander Wang chose Fabien Baron to shoot Raquel Zimmermann in an abandoned grain factory from the '20s in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Karl Templer, Wang's usual collaborator, was on styling duty. “We wanted something really gritty and raw to contrast with the polished richness of what we showed on fall runway,” Wang explained of the scene.

The accompanying campaign video, set to a soundtrack of SebastiAn’s “CTFO” featuring MIA, is going to be projected at several locations around Manhattan (Houston and McDougal, 14th and University, 14th Street and 8th Avenue) — starting around 9 pm tonight for six hours and continuing both tomorrow and Friday nights (July 13-July 15).

For those not in New York, the full video is below.

For Yves Saint Laurent's Fall campaign, Stefano Pilati chose Raquel Zimmermann to face off for the brand posing stealth in a menswear-inspired getup. Take a look at the first released image, shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, of Zimmermann working slick masculine appeal. Sleek trousers and a printed jacket go perfect with her short 'do, and take note of the NYC backdrop. She's definitely channeling the workingwoman vibe — and with a very strong, slightly sexy demeanor. What do you make of YSL's latest ad?
