Back to Cool: Ferris Bueller's Day Off

There are few kids cooler than Ferris Bueller.

There are few kids cooler than Ferris Bueller. No school, no rules, no limits. Just a cool car, a couple of friends, and a dream for the perfect day off. Factor in Ferris's sweetie, Sloane, and you've got one ridiculously cool couple. I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off wishing Ferris would bail me out of class and take me for a ride in the Ferrari. If you had the same teen dream, channel a little back to cool via Sloane Peterson. Mix funky fringe, like this Asos Fringe Waistcoat ($24, originally $47), with '80s classics like these Ray-Bans ($195), and just a touch of turquoise like this Lucky Brand Multi Row Cuff ($72) to finish. Definitely too cool for school. Click the items above to shop the look.

Celeb Style: Lindsay Lohan

Every once in a while, Lindsay Lohan hits the nail right on the fashion head.

Every once in a while, Lindsay Lohan hits the nail right on the fashion head. While leaving a hotel in London, the 6126 designer emoted major slick factor in an oversize wool blazer, graphic print tee, skinny jeans, and ravishing over-the-knee boots. A cozy scarf and dark Ray-Ban aviators finish off her irresistible incognito ensemble.

Ray-Ban at ShopStyle

This weekend, I'll be indulging in some patriotic fun at the SF Fleet Week festivities. A bunch of cool ships and exhibitions will be on display, and of course, the Navy Blue Angels will perform their usual crazy antics. The weatherman predicts sunny skies, but I have a feeling it's going to be a little nippy. Can you help me put together an outfit to protect against the wind?

I'll start you off with these Ray-Ban Aviator Sunnies ($139); they're the perfect ode to the armed forces.

Let's go Fab Finding. Be sure to come back and tell me your Fab Finds are up, or just tag your Fab Finds with Fleet Week. Now, you can build outfits by creating your very own widget of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when completing your Fab Finding missions. Learn what a Fab Find is and how to make one. And here's a detailed explanation of bookmarks from GeekSugar.

I Love Your Shopstyle: The End of Summer

We have a bountiful Fall wardrobe to look forward to, but for the time being, let's revel in seika's warm-weather finds.

We have a bountiful Fall wardrobe to look forward to, but for the time being, let's revel in seika's warm-weather finds. The pieces she styled are perfect for the end of Summer. Notice her use of darker patterns via black and white polka-dots and vintage prints. She also has Fab taste in handbags — I'm obsessed with that Alexander Wang bucket bag.

Trend Alert: Oversized Cat Eyes

There are many reasons why I adore Christina Ricci's casual Cali ensemble, but it's her tortoise Tom Ford oversize cat eyes that immediately caught my attention.

There are many reasons why I adore Christina Ricci's casual Cali ensemble, but it's her tortoise Tom Ford oversize cat eyes that immediately caught my attention. These supersized sunnies — my favorite shape to date— complement most faces and add extra mysterious sass to any look. They transformed her outfit from cute to cunning and can do the same for you.

Ray-Ban's First Ever Online Store

Thanks to Rachel Bilson and other Wayfarer-loving celebs, Ray-Ban is experiencing a major resurrection.

Thanks to Rachel Bilson and other Wayfarer-loving celebs, Ray-Ban is experiencing a major resurrection. To keep the momentum flowing, the brand has (finally) decided to launch its first ever online store. "The online store is a natural extension, a logical step for the brand, providing the loyal customer with limited access to the brand," said Pierre Fay of Ray-Ban. The online store, slated to launch this month in the US, will come equipped with an abundance of awesome features including a virtual mirror where any user with a webcam can "try on" Ray-Ban's selection from the comfort of her own home. Coolness.
