Karl Lagerfeld is in Saint Tropez for the launch of the Chanel 2011 resort collection and yesterday held a private screening of his 17-minute film, "Remember Now." Vanessa Paradis, Diane Kurger, and Georgia Jagger (who is walking in tonight's resort show) attended the premiere, held in the Cinema de la Renaissance, to watch Heidi Mount, Pascal Greggory, and Elisa Sednaoui in the short film about an aging playboy (played by Greggory) and one very memorable evening. "When I do a film, I see the movie before I've made it. I don't make scripts because it's written in my head," said Lagerfeld, who also makes a cameo. Watch the complete film here.
With just two days before the official start of the Cannes Film Festival, Karl Lagerfeld debuted his own movie, Remember Now, in St. Tropez last night. The fashionable crowd — ranging from admiring celebs, like Diane Kruger, to models such as Vanessa Paradis — were all present to support Karl's latest endeavor. The 17-minute movie, which will also be shown at Chanel's Cruise 2011 presentation today, features Karolina Kurkova, Elisa Sednaoui, and Pascal Greggory. Models Freja Beha Erichsen, Baptiste Giabiconi, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Leigh Lezark, and Heidi Mount also play supporting roles.
