The Mrs. Carter World Tour is shaping up to be quite the fashionable affair. On top of Beyoncé's custom costumes, designed by the likes of Kenzo, Emilio Pucci, and Givenchy — and her tour's eponymous line of concert-inspired tees — Rent the Runway is honoring her tour by debuting a boutique of dresses and accessories, specially curated by Beyoncé herself. Dresses by Nanette Lepore, Moschino, Versace, and Erin Fetherston — just to name a few — and a colorful lineup of sparkling baubles have all become Beyoncé-approved must-have items to style the perfect night out. Shop the entire selection online, and see our favorite items from the boutique, here in the gallery.

Best of 2012: Online Retailer of the Year
Online shopping continued to rock our fashion socks off in 2012. Our new favorite sites in 2012 included Club Monaco, which debuted its ecommerce portion in March; Uniqlo, which opened a US ecommerce site in October; J.Crew Factory, which also got started up in October; Aritzia, which debuted at the end of November; as well as Moda Operandi and Rent the Runway. We loved Club Monaco's sleek look and even sleeker designs, Uniqlo's minimalistic aesthetic, Moda Operandi's fabulous access to preorder covetable designer wear (and now buy in-season as well), J.Crew Factory's amazing discounts, Rent the Runway for allowing us to borrow, not buy, designer dresses, and Aritzia for finally bringing its must-have Vancouver designs to America. So now it's time to vote. Which online retailer do you think deserves the retailer of the year award?

Rent the Runway Answers Our Style Challenge
Today, Rent the Runway announced their official partnership with our sister site Shopstyle, so we immediately had to test Jenny Fleiss and Jennifer Hyman — the founders of RTR — on their style savvy. Their credentials are impressive: after graduating together from Harvard Business School they hatched a little business we know today as Rent the Runway, which operates like the Netflix of designer fashion. Hundreds of covetable dresses that would be way out of many people's reach are now for rent, which means designer fashion just got way more attainable, and getting the perfect outfit for a special occasion got way easier. Still, what is the perfect outfit for those special occasions? We asked Jenny and Jennifer to create outfits on Shopstyle to reflect the perfect outfits for the following events: black-tie, summer wedding, and cocktail party. To see their choices, keep reading. If you love it, just click to shop (or rent).
