Roberto Cavalli gathered his beautiful lady friends together in France last night during Paris Fashion Week to celebrate his 40th year in business with a lavish party — check out snaps from inside the bash. Rachel Bilson was in town after a stint in Italy, celebrating both Roberto's accomplishment and her own big return to TV. Bar Refaeli was all covered up to pose on the carpet, while nearby, Heidi Klum smiled for the cameras in a shimmery gold gown. Heidi was wearing more clothes than in her scantily-clad new video with husband Seal, and it looks like she's planning to keep more covered up in the future, as she just confirmed that she's parting ways with Victoria's Secret after 13 years.
Celeb Style: Rachel Bilson
Rachel Bilson really knows how to get glamourous. She proved this point at Roberto Cavalli's 40th anniversary party wearing a gown by the designer with minimal accessories. All she really needed was a clutch and a cocktail ring, but follow Bilson's lead, and add a complementary nail polish to the mix. Shop the look now.

Trend Alert: Romantic Ivory Blouses
Femininity emerged on the runways for Spring '11, but it's already here for Fall in the form of fabulously romantic ivory blouses. Soft ruffles, creamy palettes, and high collars make this blouse a standout with basics or even with prints. If you doubt the versatility, just refer to these Fab favorites — we love the way Taylor Swift, Isabel Lucas, and Roxy Olin recently sported the style, each with a little of her own twist. A touch of feminine whimsy to any outfit, a pretty contrast to structured blazers or tailored separates — just a way to wear a little Fab romance.

The Bag to Have: Roberto Cavalli Diva Bag
Roberto Cavalli's Diva bag just walked the runway, then it caught our attention on the arms of styled celebs like Natalia Vodianova and Rachel Bilson, who has it in black. Now it's making its world debut, first of its kind — a Cavalli accessory with a higher-end tilt that defines a new "haut de gamme" range of accessories. In rich colors and supple leather, python, and calfskin, it's luxurious, timeless, and available from $1,205 to $3,060 starting in November. We're adding the leopard print to our wish list, but really, it would suit in any color.

Gorgeous Gowns at amfAR Milano — Which Look Is Most Fab?
Milan Fashion Week wrapped with last night's black-tie amfAR gala, where some of our Fab favorites turned out, dressed to impress. Black was the color of choice for most, between Alessandra Ambrosio's ladylike strapless, Erin Wasson's vampy black halter Roberto Cavalli, and Chanel Iman's sexy sheer number. As for the rest, Heidi Klum chose a jeweled Cavalli, and Margherita Missoni stepped out in a patchwork metallic creation. Click through to see them all, then cast your vote for the most Fab!

Roberto Cavalli Celebrates 40 Years By Shelling Out for Paris Bash, Natalia Vodianova Runway Appearance
>> Roberto Cavalli celebrated his 40th anniversary show today in Milan with a spectacular venue — the 19th-century marble Arco Della Pace — and an equally stellar cast: Erin Wasson, Laetitia Casta, who closed, and Natalia Vodianova, who opened.
Cavalli is reportedly paying Vodianova between 50,000 and 70,000 euros ($67,000 to $94,000) for both her runway appearance and her attendance at his gala dinner and bash on Sept. 29 at L'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, a party which is said to be costing the designer over $2 million.

Cavalli, who turns 70 on Nov. 15, has seen his become a family business over the years: his 51-year-old wife, Eva, serves as creative director and drives the brand's image, selecting models, overseeing the ad campaigns, styling and staging the catwalk. And of their three children, Rachele, 28, collaborates with her parents on the brand's accessories, and Daniele, 24, works with Roberto and Eva on the men's collections.
Although there have been rumors of strife between Roberto and Eva in recent years, they are still apparently close and dependent on one another. As Roberto puts it, when you work together all day every day, "you bring your work-related problems and troubles into the bedroom."
