The newest issue of 25 magazine, which Anja Rubik helms with her husband Sasha Knezevic, features 300 pages of fashion photos tinged with an "erotic twist."

The couple launched the issue at a party Wednesday night in Cannes. Rubik described the issue as "more of a book than a magazine" and said that its ad-free pages are dedicated to women photographers including Annie Leibovitz, Ellen von Unwerth, and Corrine Day.

"It's mainly a fashion magazine, but with an erotic twist," Rubik explained, adding that she took inspiration from '70s issues of Viva, Playboy, and Penthouse. "I think it's balanced quite well. There's a lot of fashion. The stylists had a lot of liberty to play around with clothes, and there was no list of credits they had to follow or anything like that."

In fact, whoever styled the cover photo — which Knezevic tweeted yesterday — opted not to use clothes at all. The same goes for a 15-second teaser video clip for the issue called Kiss, seen below.

Rubik and Knezevic started working on 25 in 2009, when one of Knezevic's friends acquired it and asked him for help. Knezevic is now the magazine's editor-in-chief and creative director, and Rubik serves as fashion and art director. Take a look at some of their work below.

Is art imitating life or vice versa? Today in Times Square, New York, supermodel Anja Rubik posed with her fiancé and fellow model, Sasha Knezevic, for a DKNY Perfume launch. The lucky-in-love couple posed atop a taxi, Anja looking particularly fine in a sequin top, leather leggings, and a trench coat. This isn't the first time the models have worked together; you can check out their steamy editorials in Russian Vogue and H&M magazine, where Sasha makes an appearance as a very sexy cowboy.

"We were spending Christmas in Vienna this year because Sasha grew up in Vienna, and his family is there, and my family was coming over. And just two days before he came over, we went to Dance of the Vampires, the one that Roman Polanski directed. It’s an opera. I wanted to see it for such a long time, and Sasha organized the tickets, so it was really nice for Christmas. And then we went out, and we walked around, it was really foggy the whole night, and then he finally proposed, which was funny . . . It was pretty incredible. In the middle of the street. In the middle of the night. And then we went and had dinner in this restaurant that was on the rooftop of a building. And it was really, really nice. Apparently he was carrying the ring around for a while. And that day, we fought all the day long. We were preparing the whole house for Christmas, and there were all these things to be done, and I had to cook, and I had to do this and that and the Christmas decorations . . . I couldn’t find the ones I liked. So it was totally dramatic the whole day. I thought, ‘I’m going to kill him.’ I was like, ‘I think this was my last Christmas ever’ [with him]. And he said, ‘I picked this day on purpose, because although we have our fights, we’ve been together and ra ra ra ...’ And he’s right."

She added that they are "kind of hoping to do [the wedding] in May or June," and the ring is "a beautiful Cartier ring, I think it’s gold. Solitaire."
