Kate Moss knows denim. Have you noticed she lives in jeans most of the time? As do I. While Kate frequently fashions black and gray jeans, this baby blue denim is her way of showing she's ready for Summer. The lighter hue is more casual, more Cali cool. And, it makes her black boots and silky black blazer pop. I love the slight '70s feel, too; a wide leg paired with a striped tank is a classic look. Skinnies look good with just about anything — especially a white tee and exotic gold jewels. It's so easy, easy.
Trend Alert: Dungarees
I admit, dungarees aren't for everyone, but if there's an inner Laura Ashley hiding inside of you, now is the time to release her. Personally, I kinda love this kickback style. While Ralph Lauren paired his denim overalls with gold peep-toe heels for his Spring collection, I prefer mine with some fun flats. Retailers offer a range of styles varying from slim-fitting to baggier cuts. Glad I kept my pair from the '90s . . .
Trend Alert: Patched Up
Since we've had our hurrah with ripped jeans, let's embrace a new kind of denim in 2010. Might I suggest patched up jeans, a la Chanel's Spring '10 line? This funky look is all about DIY-inspired patches, skinny cuts, and bad-to-the-bone attitude. Do you have it? If so, revel in your inner hippie hipster with these rad Gap Real Straight Patch Jeans ($80) for an authentically distressed vibe.
Trend Alert: Moto Jeans
Get ready to rev up your denim collection. Moto jeans are the latest incarnation, and they're both sassy and sporty. We've seen motorcycle jackets and vests, but cross-stitches and patches on a slick pair of jeans are hard to resist.
My favorite, affordable pick is by Recession Denim — these dark denim Moto jeans with ribbed knit patches are statement jeans if I ever saw them. And, they're under $100. Temper them with a girlie ruffled top or cuddly soft knits — ready, set, moto!
Celeb Style: Sienna Miller
Sienna continues her stream of quirky outfits promoting her new film G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra in Berlin. We don't see enough inspirational pant looks and here's a super cute one. Her gray Division E pocket racerback tank ($44), is haphazardly tucked into a pair of ankle-cinched Dries Van Noten trousers for a cool modern vibe. Cutesie green suede peep toes and a leopard print scarf bring some humor to the mix, while her black and silver snake-like bracelets add an architectural element.

Trend Alert: Denim de Blanco
Fab may be going through a white phase. But let's admit: white is white hot! Especially when Gisele is wearing denim de blanco (and a Phillip Lim blouse. I actually lived in my cropped white jeans last weekend and made it to Sunday night without a spot. If you're resistant to the heat, I recommend a slim cut, no matter what your body type. Or, a slight boot cut. And heels always slim one right up. We can't all look like Gisele in this Summer staple, but we can sure try.
Gossip Girl Producer Sells in Los Feliz
Josh Schwartz, who's best known for producing and writing shows such as Gossip Girl, The OC, and Chuck, has sold his Los Feliz, CA, home for $2.15 million.

The beautiful 1928 home was originally listed in April for $2.4 million. Given that other celebs have been forced to lower their prices by close to half a million, this price drop doesn't seem particularly harsh, especially given the real estate market's current woes.
The house itself is absolutely lovely, with great bones and much of its original Spanish detailing. Updates like tropically landscaped outdoors areas, a koi pond, heated pool, and a grotto spa perfectly accent the charming house's Spanish-style edifice. Inside the 3,468-square-foot home, the new owner (who's the former creative director for 7 For All Mankind), can enjoy such features as vaulted ceilings, a downstairs screening room, Saltillo tile floors, five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, and numerous fireplaces. I also love that this home's library has a sliding bookshelf that opens to the wine cellar. Overall, this is one of the more charming celebrity homes I've seen in a good while.

Celebrity Style: Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan looks fresh and Spring ready in LA. Instead of the usual dark skinnies, she wore a pair of light-wash, wide-legged jeans from 7 For All Mankind. A loose henley top and zip fleece give her ensemble a casual touch while Chloe Jumbo aviator sunnies, gold macho watch, and wooden platform sandals up the glamour factor. Nicely done!

Celebrity Style: Jessica Alba
Along with fellow new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Jessica Alba and her hubby Cash Warren attended a friend's house party over the weekend. From the looks of the couple, it was a casual affair. Still, the actress turned up in retro style, wearing Juicy Couture's plaid coat, flared jeans, an ivory turtleneck topped with a necklace, and white sunnies. Jessica proves that choosing your denim wisely is of utmost importance; hers lent a cool '70s vibe that went hand in hand with her groovy coat.

Trend Alert: Holey Jeans
Denim has seen many transformations this year; it's been fun following it. I guess the skinny jean backlash spun out of control.
First, we had baggy jeans, no thanks. Then the denim nip/tuck took over — I'm still into it. Most recently the more subtle slit jeans appeared. And now the '80s are totally back with holey jeans. Mena is strutting her stuff in this risqué jean. She vamps it up with black accessories — what do you think of her little feather hairpiece, btw? Call me crazy, but this is another denim trend I might take for a ride.
