I've posted a few tips regarding international roaming before, but user beware — you could rack up quite the bill if you're using your phone on a foreign network abroad. Even on a cruise just outside of the US with a cellular service available, charges can skyrocket if you can't keep things short. Although Charlotte may not need to worry about the cost of international roaming charges, she does spend quite a bit of time plugging in text messages and making calls to Harry back home in Sex and the City 2. Even Carrie takes in a long convo in Abu Dhabi, which left me wondering just how much they spent on wireless calls during their fabulous vacation in the desert.
See what I came up with after the break.

Now, in the wake of Hollywood theatrics, a mega-movie budget, and an Abu Dhabi vacation, the girls are living far beyond the means they once had in their Manhattan days, about a decade ago. Instead of a picnic in the park or grabbing a New York slice of pizza, Carrie, Sam, Charlotte, and Miranda have literally landed in the lap of luxury, complete with a $10 million budget for wardrobe alone. In one scene, Carrie dons a pair of jeans that cost $4,000, making $500 Jimmy Choos seem like chump change. Obviously, with marriage and career successes, these women have more cash to spend, but the decadence in this film rivals royalty, and while it's certainly entertaining and pretty to look at it, these girls are far from where we last saw them. So, tell me, which do you prefer — is the luxurious lifestyle more fun to watch or did you like it best when the gang was a little more relatable?
Sex and the City 2 hits theaters today, but the fabulous four were surrounded by hot famous guys long before they hit the big screen. Truth be told, not all of their love interests were big stars during the time of the TV series, but they've come a long way since then. Check out our video of 10 sexy famous flings that helped make the show a phenomenon — you may be surprised at who you find between the sheets of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte!
The fabulous foursome of SATC hit up the red carpet in London for the premiere of Sex and the City 2 looking sleek and sexy, much like they did at the NYC premiere. Cynthia Nixon contrasted her gold locks with a blue one-shoulder dress by Narciso Rodriguez; SJP posed pretty in a voluminous lace-embellished black taffeta Alexander McQueen confection; Kristin Davis shined in a vintage gold sequined halter gown by Norman Norell; and Kim Cattrall emoted major sass in a vintage gathered frock by Thierry Mugler. So decadent, so dazzling. Which look do you prefer?

I mentioned last month that the ladies of Sex and the City 2 would be getting an HP makeover, but speculated that Carrie would stay a Mac-addict. Carrie's computer has played a huge part in the series, even being the focus of an episode in season four called "My Motherboard, My Self." How could the powers that be break such a bond!? Well, I had the pleasure of catching an early screening of the film on Monday and can confirm for all you Apple and Sex fans out there that Carrie does indeed keep her trusty Mac despite Sarah Jessica Parker's real-life partnership with HP.
Carrie's machine only makes a few short appearances, and in fact, I'm almost certain that it's the same PowerBook she had in the first film (pictured here). Of course, right? I mean, it took Carrie forever just to get a cell phone, let alone make the switch from her vintage PowerBook G3!
