Fit Tip: Buy Larger Workout Shoes to Keep Warm in the Winter
Since blood flows to the body's core when it's cold outside, it's important to keep your feet, head, and hands warm whenever you're outside in the gold. To keep feet warm during Winter workouts, nothing beats a thick pair of wool socks. (Wool also has great wicking properties.) The problem is, whenever I wear them, my feet end up feeling squished inside my cross-trainers.

Buying shoes a half size bigger is an easy solution to my problem; the slight increase in size affords me just enough room to wear my wool socks, which keeps me toasty during Winter workouts, but still fit well enough to not throw off my balance. It may seem like a waste of money, but I look at these shoes as part of my Winter gear essentials, and my smaller pair gets an extended shelf life.

Grey Ant + Teva's Most Comfy Performance Heel on the Planet — Love It or Hate It?
Grey Ant has paired up with outdoor footwear brand Teva to create what they're calling the most comfortable performance high heel on the planet. Basically, it's Teva's Hurricane sport "mandal" redone on a four-inch stacked stiletto. There are two styles, $330 each: the "Worlds Unite" in black and white with Velcro closure, and the "Natural" in tan with a buckle. It's an interesting collaboration, no doubt, but will it work in real life? Either way, it's fun to see the fashion-meets-the-outdoors shoot.

Trend Alert: Proper Tassels
I've always had a thing for the classic appeal of a tassel-adorned shoe. Now, I'm crushing hard on the sophisticated, menswear vibe you can get with proper tassels. First, it was the love of these Tory Burch ankle booties ($395), but the more I see the tassel look on everything from oxfords to a wedge loafer, the more style-smitten I've become. Wear them with rolled, military-hued chinos, or a mini and tights – polished, playful, and totally seasonal.
