Chanel Iman DJ'd at the Sonia Rykiel for H&M knitwear launch party last week, and today I've got the goods for you, piece by piece. The palette consists of black, yellow, hot pink, and baby pink; stripes are aplenty, rhinestone studs sparkly. Frilly dresses, classic cardis, cuffed shorts, and platform shoes round out the rest. Prices start at $10 for bracelets, $40 for dresses, $70 for this rockin' pink blazer. Hit your local H&M Feb. 20 for a sweet piece of Sonia.
Behind the Seams: Sonia Rykiel Pour H&M Knitwear Soiree
The second installment of Sonia Rykiel Pour H&M, the "Queen of Knits," drops on Feb. 20. In the meantime, let's check out the fun launch party photos. The swanky soiree took place at Bobo in New York last night and was hosted by Sonia's daughter, Nathalie. Also in attendance were Amanda Hearst, singer Michelle Williams, and Gossip Girls Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford. The bright knits were on display, but the cutest sight of the night? DJ Chanel Iman! Enter for more behind the seams action.
Sonia Rykiel For H&M Sexes Up Le Grand Palais
Though I had a lovely date last night, I wouldn't have minded being at Le Grand Palais in Paris for the Sonia Rykiel For H&M fashion show and festivities. Sure, I watched it go down on the web, but imagine how much more magical it was in person! Kate Bosworth said it best: "It's crazy here. It’s like a carnival." Parisian socials, actresses, designers, and fans all gathered for a night of chic madness. Rykiel, Eva Herzigova, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Nadja Auermann looked on as lingerie-clad models came down the catwalk riding bicycles, swinging on chandeliers, and seducing on silky beds. Enter to experience the Parisian magic.
Sonia Rykiel For H&M Video and Sizzling Sweet Ads
Hot on the heels of Jimmy Choo for H&M, the first installment of Sonia Rykiel for H&M hits stores Saturday, Dec. 5. If you're looking for some sexy chic lingerie for yourself or somebody special this holiday, H&M will be the place to be. And, the Grand Palais in Paris. Say what? H&M is throwing a runway event at the landmark where Chanel throws its shows on Dec. 1, and it will be broadcast online for the world to see. Here's a behind-the-scenes video where Etienne Russo, fashion event creator at H&M, shows us the latest developments for the style spectacle. After the jump, peruse the styles, as modeled by a brunette Lara Stone, Anne Vyalitsyna, and Caroline Trentini. Those black velvet pj pants are on my hit list . . .
