Leave it to Valentino to create the perfect pair of Summer pumps; we just cannot get enough of these strappy, studded sandals. And while the price tag might not fit every budget, there are plenty of other ways you can play with this season's spiky trend. From Forever 21's array of options (tees, dresses, vests, and more) to Marc by Marc Jacobs whimsical mouse flats, there's something for everyone — from the punkiest of punks to the preppiest of preps.
Thanks to this year's Met Gala theme, Punk: Chaos to Couture, we are now trying to add some majorly tough pieces to our own wardrobes. If you too have spikes on the brain, click on to shop 22 of our favorite pieces, including bags, shoes, jewels, headbands, and belts.
Admit it: The Hills' Kristin Cavallari is a bona fide hottie. The temptress attended the Salt LA premiere in a rather ballsy spike shoulder dress by The Blonds. Who to choose? Last night at the reopening party for Burberry Beverly Hills, many a starlet looked Fab. With Mario Testino and Burberry designer Christopher Bailey as the hosts, my favorite luxe grunge babes were Kate Hudson, Kelly Osbourne, and Amy Smart. Amy proved neutrals can be just as striking as color in her metallic tiered ruffle dress. And she piled on Burberry's torturously fabulous spike jewelry. Burberry head-to-toe, shine on Ms. Smart.
