Queen Elizabeth's Perfect and Pretty Spring Bouquet
Today, Queen Elizabeth II visited City and Islington College in London, carrying a charming bouquet of pastel blooms. The flowers are such a fresh, Spring-inspired choice, that I had to share the elements, so you could re-create it for your home.
Here's what you'll need:
- Lilacs — This beautiful Spring flower is only available for a limited amount of time in floral shops, so grab them while you can! Lilacs don't last long after they've been cut, so be sure to follow all of these tips for extending your flowers' lives.
- Parrot tulips — This variety of tulip is noted for its feathered, curled, twisted, or wavy petals. While many parrot tulips are brightly colored, for this sweet bouquet, choose a pale pink or ivory shade.
- White hydrangeas — Look for a miniature version of this classic flower to balance the dimensions of the other flowers in your bouquet.
- Pink roses — There are a number of beautiful varieties of pink roses. Pick your favorite from your local floral shop for the bouquet, or order these long-lasting organic pink roses.
What are your favorite flowers for a springtime bouquet?
A Healthy Bite: Emma Stone
"I'd be crazy to sit here and tell you that I've never thought about it. [But] I never can beat myself up about it. I definitely am not restrictive. [Laughs.] You're a human being, you live once and life is wonderful, so eat the damn red velvet cupcake."
— Emma Stone on the pressure to measure up to Hollywood's standard of staying skinny. Emma is one of three actresses photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath for Glamour's May issue, which will be on newsstands April 5. Ashley Greene and Freida Pinto were also chosen by the magazine to show off bright floral looks for the Spring.

Nicky Hilton Wears the Lace Trend by Hot Young Designer on Red Carpet
Is Nicky Hilton reading our collective Fab mind? We recently wrote about the white lace trend for Spring, just after we highlighted contemporary designer Charles Henry as one of five up-and-coming designers to watch. Behold, Nicky Hilton looking tan and gorgeous in a short lace dress by — you guessed it — Charles Henry. Love the look? We found a Charles Henry lace top ($258) and skirt ($285) that could be worn together or would look great separately.
Go Grungy in Our Top 10 Picks For Spring!
This one's for all the girls who prefer a grittier Spring: if lace and eyelet aren't your thing, we suggest you get with this season's other hot trend — '90s grunge. Gisele Bundchen showed off the look to perfection in her Spring ad campaign for Balenciaga, and now we're breaking down our favorite pieces for the warmer months ahead of us. A marled sweatshirt tee from J.Crew, neon green leather skirt from Christopher Kane, dagger bracelet from Fallon . . . and more pieces, and why we love them, in the slideshow.

Arizona Muse Plays Peekaboo Behind Palm Trees in Yves Saint Laurent's Spring '11 Video Campaign
Print ads are great, but there's something about videos that take campaigns to the next level of fashion greatness. And that's exactly what Stefano Pilati did, along with Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, for Yves Saint Laurent's Spring collection. Like the hard copy, the scene took place in the gardens of a 1930s villa in Marrakech's Palmeraie resort, reminding us of Yves Saint Laurent's love for Morocco. Inez and Vinoodh beautifully captured video shows Arizona fading in and out of palm trees all while wearing exquisitely cut gowns and jumpsuits from the collection. A fine four minutes you don't want to miss — check out the video now!
