I've never been wowed by Angelina in the St. John adverts. The photography is clean and beautiful, and Angie is elegant as always, but they just lack the dynamo many other fashion ads have. That is, until now.

This particular shot from the Spring campaign sheds a new light on the St. John woman. She looks mischievous, a little disheveled and dare I say it — naughty. She's been up to no good. Does Brad her husband know? Does he suspect? Perhaps. This ad separates the actress models from the model models. Angelina is, in fact, acting. Wonderfully, I might add.

Angelina's never struck me as much of a dog person, but she looks divine next to two beautiful Weimaraners in this latest ad for St John. Whether she's carrying her precious cargo on and off their private jet, smiling big on the set, or exuding glamor on the red carpet next to Brad, there's just something alluring about Angelina. I will say though that mommy Angelina has definitely grown on me the most recently. That being said, girl can still turn out a beautiful picture. Exhibit A seen here.

How cool can a gal look? Angelina is back as the face of St. John and what a glamorous image shot by none other than Mario Testino. Here she is cruising in a convertible with perfect hair and that perfect pout. While I always like to see the clothes a bit more, that pristine white coat is gorgeous. And those clear white shades add even more cool to the scene. Though, I see a touch of Balenciaga's Spring suburban sci-fi influence; it must be the futuristic clear shades. Anywho, I'm sure there is more to come from this campaign but what a Fab beginning - I can't wait to see the rest in glossy form!

Angelina & St John Team Up for Charity

It was out of the ordinary for St John's to choose such a young actress to revive their label.

It was out of the ordinary for St John's to choose such a young actress to revive their label. Now that Angelina is a part of the fashion houses' family it was only a matter of time before her do-good deeds would rub off. The actress and clothing company are expected to announce a children's charity they will be partnering within the future. FWD reports:

Angelina Jolie loves children, that’s a fact. And to further show the extent to which she will go to alleviate their plight, the actress, mother, humanitarian, and face of St. John is on the brink of naming the foundation being created in association with the American luxury house in support of children’s causes. An announcement is expected to be made by the end of August or possibly during New York Fashion Week. Details remain mum on the project, but during the announcement, Jolie is expected to outline and green light several key initiatives over the long term that will benefit the yet-to-be-named charity.
